Big progress today.

Starting to feel like real protocol architecture now.

Busy day, but still made progress.

Small fixes, deeper understanding.

@BABS96711 @PatrickAlphaC Thanks mate
The borrow isn’t unrestricted though. The health factor check handles that.
If someone borrows without collateral, the health factor becomes too low and the whole transaction reverts, including the token transfer.

@Botforges @PatrickAlphaC Good job, but have you noticed that anyone can call borrow() function and drain the address this balance without collateral at all?

🎯 Day 187 of my #RoadToWeb3SecurityJobChallenge
🕰️ 4h
Added the borrow() function to the lending protocol today.
Also learning that the math behind protocols is just as important as the Solidity code itself.

found a screenshot i took back in 2024
at the time, I was still working a full-time job and was yet to do my first contest
~2 years later, few contest wins, over 30 private audits
i can can confirm that fully dedicating my time to web3sec has been paying off well and all the time invested was worth it
