@Rojineg33242164@Zikode_ka_Gasa@theepicmap Yes. It was ceded to the UK in Perpetuity under the Treaty of Utrecht. However, the Spanish Government have kept wanting it back and making it difficult for the Gibraltarians instead of getting on well with their neighbours. Perpetuity means forever, so it’s not theirs to take.
@GibChronicle Surely the Houses of Commons and Parliament should debate why British Nationals, not Gibraltarian, will be treated like third class citizens when coming to Gibraltar, a British Territory. To top it all up they could even be stopped by Spain and not Gibraltar. Is this acceptable?
@drjdelasheras@HenMazzig Which Spanish sovereignty are you talking about, Dr? It’s sad that a Dr, a man who should be well educated is so narrow minded that sees things through tunnel vision. Like many people say, Franco didn’t die as he still lives in the hearts of many narrow minded Spanish people. Sad
Only VOX can reverse Spain's shameful trajectory and put our nation back on the right side of history.
Their principled stance against radical immigration, unconditional support for Israel against Iranian threats, and commitment to Spanish sovereignty offer the only real path to restore dignity, security, and Western alliances.
Time for patriots to rally behind VOX! 🇪🇸🇮🇱
Spain in 1492: Expelled, killed, or forcibly converted all Jews.
Spain during the Holocaust: Closely aligned with the Nazis.
Spain after the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust: Accuses Israel of genocide.
Spain last year: Refused to grant asylum to Palestinians fleeing Gaza.
Spain after recognizing a Palestinian state: Refused to move its embassy to the Palestinian territories because its diplomats didn’t want to give up the “standard of living and security” they enjoyed in Israel.
Spain last summer: Called the police to remove 50 French Jewish teenagers from a Vueling flight after hearing one word in Hebrew.
Spain today: Officially withdrew its ambassador from Israel, but left its embassy in Tehran.
Now that is what being on the wrong side of history looks like. 🤦♂️
@jurgen_nauditt Posted accidentally without finishing. Sorry. Might the war be a way of deviating people’s attention from the Epstein files as Trump has a lot to hide there and probably Netanyahu too? Just wondering.
Today we will see Trump explode!
Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez has openly confronted Trump after the latter announced yesterday that he would sever trade relations with Spain.
In his speech, he criticized Trump for his decision to start a war, emphasizing that his country does not support it and, above all, adheres to the principles of international law. He also pointed out that 23 years ago, there was already a major war in the Middle East in Iraq, which had devastating consequences, including increased migration and a rise in international Islamic terrorism.
"Spain opposes this catastrophe. Because we understand that governments are there to improve people's lives, to solve problems, not to worsen them. And it is absolutely unacceptable that leaders who are incapable of fulfilling this task use the smokescreen of war to mask their incompetence and line the pockets of a select few."
Sánchez concluded his speech by declaring that his country would not be complicit in anything that contradicts its values simply because of "fear of reprisals from some individuals," and that he had confidence in "Spain's economic, institutional, and moral strength."
@GibChronicle I know of other people who’ve stayed abroad but were still given a flat in the older 50/50 development by Eastern Beach and use them only as a holiday home. Is this fair or is it still about who we know or, what dirty laundry we can air about people in high places?
@GibChronicle How does this affect students who have been living away to further their studies? Just asking because my nephew was immediately removed from the housing list as he decided to stay in the UK which is fair but his friend, who did likewise, was given one by Eastern Beach!
@GibChronicle If you were born outside Gibraltar and your mother’s Gibraltarian? What about if your father is? We carry on building luxury flats for the rich, most who don’t even live here. So why not stop building for them & start building for our youth? 50/50 housing isn’t affordable to all.
Much of Gibraltar was without power last night as GibElec tested a new battery system. The company said while every effort was being made to minimise any disruption, a temporary interruption was possible and apologised for the inconvenience.
@SimplyUtd@samuelluckhurst He can always f**k off if he is NOT happy.
That's exactly what I would do.
Go and live in my parent's beautiful country.
What I wouldn't do, though, is tell a Native Brit what he should or shouldn't say in his own f**king country
Get that, darlin?!
🚨 BREAKING!
MANUTD PLAYERS ARE UNHAPPY!
One senior United player said he had “no words” in response to Ractliffe’s remarks. A source close to another player said Ratcliffe “had a lot to answer for”.

Yesterday Mary had a very intensive 6-hour surgery. The doctor told us it was the toughest he has ever performed. That puts into perspective just how much our 2-pound girl is a fighter.
The good news: we met the goals we were hoping for. Her esophagus was successfully connected to her stomach.
Now she’s working to rebound. We’re focused on stabilizing her blood pressure, lowering her blood sugars, supporting lung growth, and carefully managing stress so there’s no strain on her brain. It’s a delicate season, but she’s in excellent hands.
“Grateful” can feel like too small a word, but Haylee and I truly mean it. Your prayers and support are carrying us. Thank you.
@TouchlineX Maybe you could give it a try, see if you’d be better? If Carrick’s doing well at present, why not embrace that? We gave others, including Van Gaal and Mourinho a chance, let’s give him a chance now. To talk about him at the moment when he’s won 4out of 4, sounds more like envy.
🚨🗣️ Roy Keane on Michael Carrick:
"As a caretaker manager, it's a different animal to being manager of United trying to win league titles over the next two, three, four, five years, whatever it might be. I think you can get a better manager than Carrick, absolutely."
@TouchlineX Gary Neville’s delusional. None of the these managers will want to come to be “head coach” like the board seems to want. They’ll want more authority than being a “head coach.”
🚨🗣️ Gary Neville: "There cannot be any consideration that Michael takes the job beyond this season, for Michael and for the club.
"If he wins every game, look, we could be sat here in the season where he's done unbelievably well, and we're always thinking the fans are up and they're in the Champions League places, fifth or whatever. It could happen if there's a good run and we could all be getting swayed with it.
"I honestly feel like at the end of the season when you've got Pochettino, Tuchel and Ancelotti."
@FTBLsection Congratulations Case, you had a strong pillar on support in your mother. Usually mothers are willing to sacrifice themselves for their children. Your mum raised a great son. Well done to both of you! ❤️
CASEMIRO: 'My mum used to work as a housemaid every day of the week from Sunday to Sunday, 7 days a week after my father left us when I was three years old. I neither remember him nor would I like to know him.
What I remember well and proud of is that when I received my first significant amount in my professional football, I went straight to buy a home for my mother who suffered and struggled until I got to where I am now.'
Tomorrow morning at 7:45, Mary will be going into her first surgery to try to attach her esophagus to her stomach.
If you could offer up a prayer for her, the doctors, and nurses, my wife and I would be grateful.
@Victorbastion@GBCNewsroom Nothing implied, just that matters shouldn’t be taken further at the expense of our economy at a time when a deal with Spain is going to be so harsh on our economy. Mr P wouldn’t be made to resign or Mr MG lose his pension as a consequence of the hearing so what was the point?
@Boudicca3061@GBCNewsroom Suggesting it's about ego, you imply CM is acting to show off rather than legal grounds. A conclusion was reached that, on strong legal advice, is considered challengeable. An inquiry is not court of law, and key elements, such as witness statements, were not considered.
