@BouldEd @scarylawyerguy Only if you're into zero-drop (flat) shoes. I tried them and they really didn't work for me. Guess you can't teach old dogs (feet) new tricks.

@BirddogActual87 @Darifleman2c Are you an absolutist on the other amendments? Eg time/place/manner speech restrictions, or Terry stops, or the death penalty?

@BirddogActual87 @Darifleman2c I have read all of them that you've shared o_O
my point is very straightforward: Scalia, the guy admonishing others for reading language into the constitution, read into the second amendment a right that wasn't there.

If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you.
I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony.
This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ.
You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.

“Well regulated” means that Congress can…. Regulate…. Gun ownership

This is what the Constitution allows the State to do once the militia is activated. This is when they're permitted to enact regulations. The Militia Act of 1903 flushes it out a bit more, but it all holds this is where they have control.

@EdwardJ43052606 There would be no internet but for government (or, really, anything else), but sure, yeah, government is the problem, not the battle between good and evil that resides in the heart of each person

The lolbert is a conservative who finally reads up on history and realizes, correctly, that governments are all trash and that "progress" should be met with skepticism, but still keeps trying to make utopia.
The anarchist is the libertarian who starts valuing the here and now over "the way things oughtta be", and puts away childish utopianism and opts to let the outcome be what it will.

Show me a libertarian and I’ll show you someone that’s never read a history book.
Liberty-Identitarian@EricTropicalTX
@CaseStudyQB @cenkuygur There should be no minimum wage. Abolish minimum wage laws. They are inherently discriminatory against working class whites. We should be free to contract at whatever rate we wish.
English

@BouldEd @Sinapus Well regulated is clearly defined as describing the militia solely. You can argue that includes their mastery of their gear, once activated. The 2A doesn't even establish how that's to occur. Do you know what section of the Constitution details federal responsibilities for that?
English

You seem pressed, bargain bin il Duce.
