Can't stop thinking about Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive worth $828 billion, spending $290 million to elect Trump, becoming $563 billion richer since Trump was elected and ending humanitarian aid that will lead to the deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest kids on the planet.

I made race-neutral maps for the deep south+TN. I tried making them as clean as possible while still making safe seats (>Trump+10). The total count would be 43R-4D. 8 flips from the current maps.

Spencer Pratt is firing back at claims he misled voters about living in a trailer after critics called him out for staying at Hotel Bel-Air. 🗣️

Trump is suing the IRS, which he oversees, for $10 billion. Both sides want to settle to avoid going to court. Aside from money, one of the settlement terms is to drop all audits of himself and his family. He’s stealing $10B from taxpayers and covering up his tax crimes. You get that, right? nytimes.com/2026/05/12/bus…

Elon Musk amplifies online whining about Christopher Nolan casting Lupita Nyong'o. Take a look: bit.ly/4dH5sDZ

Is it legal for Trump to order a government agency to hand him a huge pile of taxpayer money? Note that the White House is directly discussing this with DOJ! Right-wing populists who hate "elite" self-dealing and corruption will be outraged about this, right?

VA Const. "whenever any government shall be found inadequate or contrary to these purposes, a majority of the community hath an indubitable, inalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter, or abolish it, in such manner as shall be judged most conducive to the public weal."

White House counterterrorism czar Sebastian Gorka says there must be limits to freedom of speech, like "incitement" (as defined by the government). "There are things within our laws that you are not allowed to say, right?"

Mike Johnson defends egregiously gerrymandered maps like the new one in Tennessee, but then in the very next breath claims the Virginia map that was struck down "was a hastily drawn gerrymander that was unconstitutional"

I totally support Biggs here. A huge percentage of our taxes goes toward 'education,' but given our pathetic rankings, that money clearly isn't reaching the classroom effectively (exception of charter schools). Other states manage this successfully; we just need new leadership to fix the system.

Trump's DHS Secretary: For some reason, ICE has been demonized.

I genuinely don’t really know what Trump wants out of the presidency anymore. For 8-9 years he at least attempted to be attuned to the median voter’s wants, even if he wasn’t right a lot of the time. Now he’s just like “I don’t care if peoples economic lives are ruined”
