@_SharonThornton This tax would have come into effect in 2025 after the amnesty for eligible practices in Qld ends. The amnesty was introduced when the interpretation of this tax changed. This commitment will mean running costs won’t have to increase to just cover a tax.

Healthcare practitioners on parental leave should not have to keep paying full fees to Ahpra to keep their registration. We need a lower fee to assist healthcare workers as they start their families.

Excellent news. AMA Qld has been advocating for this RSV antibody vaccine to be funded. This follows the Qld Government funding the Men B vaccine and flu vaccine for those not eligible under the National Immunisation Program.
