It's 14 wks since my right eye was enucleated. 2 cancerous tumours growing thick & fast close to optic nerve. I thought my life would be permanently changed. But it's not. Temp eye is amazing. Balance back to normal. Sickness nearly gone. I'm back driving. And Cancer free 💟

Lost my buddy yesterday. He would have been 12 next week. The chaos he caused with his mischievous antics, love & comfort, will forever be missed. My mate. My Bibble. Never wanting to leave my side 💔 RIP Bib my handsome furboy 💔 Go play together Bibble 💕 Bouncer💕

My mate Bouncer died yesterday. He’d lived with us for 13 years as a furry, purring, permanently migrating ornament. I didn’t know I could feel such grief for a witless bag of bones who destroyed my favourite sofa and crapped in the shower tray. ATTENTION ALL TOURISTS AND VISITORS who will be in central London tomorrow; there are two big protest events taking place & those on either side don’t like each other very much. So, expect lots of barriers and police cordons which will make moving around a tad tricky. You will be tempted to ask an officer for directions & despite the badly printed map they may have been issued; they will probably be as confused as you UNLESS they have AW, T, CO, U on the shoulders, are wearing a blue tabard, or are in possession of a horse, a dog, a motorbike or wearing a cap with a red & white chequer band. You may see a demented individual walking around inspecting police uniforms. He is hunting for officers who may be wearing the Thin Blue Line patch which has been banned by the Met Commissioner. Alas, visiting forces who are helping out may well be wearing the TBL patch and have been encouraged to do so by their Chief Constables. This will make the demented man very angry. If you see an arrest, don’t react in the same way as the legions of keyboard warriors or armchair martial arts experts. In an ideal world, six officers per arrest is a nice safe number; two for the arms, two for the legs, one for the head (spitting, biting, butting) plus one for the prisoner’s welfare (is he/she still breathing?). Other officers, if available, will form a protective ‘bubble’ and may move as a unit to the prisoner transport. Each arrest, regardless from which side, will result in chants of ‘shame on you’ directed at the officers. The one certainty is that the next morning both sides will accuse the Met of ‘two tier’ policing. If you see officers sitting in carriers near coffee shops, those officers may well panic if you offer to buy them a ‘cuppa’ fearing an investigation by the IOPC. *update from my private account* I received good news. My recent 6 mths liver scan was cancer free. My recent first post-surgery yearly mammogram, was also cancer free. Recently started Letrozole (5yrs) & Ribociclib (3 yrs) starting soon. Little by little, life is healing 🙏💗

Morning all. Thank you for all the kind & supportive messages about mum. Genuinely blown away by how lovely you all are. I mean that. Secondly, Mrs W reckons the best remedy is to keep busy. So, I’m sorting out Big Dave..! Please can we revert to normal Pi$$ taking now.

Little update. I tried to do a video but, as you can see, I was being heckled. So, the 2nd surgery went well. It gave them a clear margin for the original excision which is great. They did hit a new patch of precancerous cells on the other side of the new bit but, thankfully …

Err slightly controversial tweet, I made both Cornish pasties & Devonshire pasties. Despite the same ingredients, my Devonshire pasties totally transported me back in time to when I was a kid🏆🏆

Some devastating new to share with you, I’ve not mentioned it but my stepdad / dad has been fighting cancer for the last 8 months or so He lost that battle this morning He was a wonderful, kind man who made my mum and our family so happy and the world is worse without him

Cats have been on a chicken only diet this week. I've alternated meals between homemade Milky(lactose free) Chicken "porridge" and Chicken Soup. Just had delivery of some Salmon Oil to add. Placed a smudge on my finger and was nearly eaten alive 😸

Oh for heaven's sake!How many fcuking cats go for a daily swim! Only water my cats have ever liked, is what they drink 🤦🏼

Lots going on recently. So much to "unpack". Learning to be kind to myself is hard, and shaking off the guilt I feel having to be "selfish" & deciding to concentrate on my needs, and having to say to others "I can't worry about anyone else right now". One day at a time 🙏💕

Tonight I'm trying a hot Ginsters pasty with lashings of HP sauce. Really fancied a proper pasty for weeks. Will hopefully make some homemade ones soon 😋 This pain & nausea is draining me. I'm not eating properly. I'm keeping hydrated & some small snacks if I can keep it down.

Rough night last night, so today I've taken things really easy. Although every time I've set aside some quiet meditation time to clear my head, it's been one interruption after another. Appetite has been non existent since last week. Eating last night didn't go down well.
