Willits at SS is just about the only thing I’m confident of long term. One of King or DFG will likely work out and be the long term second baseman, the other hopefully also works out and we figure that out later, whether it’s new position or trade. I think Hacopian should move to third perhaps, not sure he’s quick enough laterally for the middle infield, and helps sort out the logjam there. Mead can either swap back to 1B or be dealt, and Abrams either move to OF or be dealt. By 2029, INF could look like: 1B: Mead, Ortiz, YoYo, revolving door of platoon bats, etc 2B: King 3B: Hacopian SS: Willits
