We had a great morning at the Farmers Market. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

.@SenMcConnell addressed his statement to his fellow Kentuckians, which includes Governor @AndyBeshearKY... Unless, of course, the Governor's recent travels to presidential battleground states have him confused about his identity? If Andy actually wanted answers instead of attention, he could pick up the phone and call Senator McConnell. But that wouldn't generate the headlines he's after. This was never about transparency. It's about making himself part of the story.

Let’s call this what it is: a political stunt. These guys have lived the same Ky political universe for years. The Gov has McConnell’s phone number. He knows how to reach him If this were genuine concern, he’d make a call. But a private call doesn’t generate headlines, does it?

My Dearest Darling, #Kentucky: Manufactured crisis. Manufactured outrage. Manufactured Governor. @GovAndyBeshear warned Kentucky was headed for a budget shortfall. Reality? Kentucky finished $320 million over budget, delivering our 7th consecutive budget surplus thanks to the fiscal discipline of @KYSenateGOP and @KYHouseGOP. Turns out the only deficit was the Governor’s thoughts.

@AndyBeshearKY may act the part, but his true ambition lies beyond Kentucky. We deserve a governor who actually focuses on our Commonwealth and doesn’t use the office of governor as a stepping stone.
