Republican Party of Kentucky
This weekend, nearly 1,000 Republicans gathered in Lexington for our annual Statewide Lincoln Dinner. From Paducah to Pikeville, Kentuckians from all walks of life came together to hear from our nominees and party leaders about the path to victory this November. Republicans demonstrated this weekend that we are united, energized, and ready to win this fall. With a strong slate of candidates, a dedicated army of grassroots patriots, and momentum on our side, the Republican Party of Kentucky has never been stronger or better positioned to meet the challenges ahead. Thank you to Commissioner @JShellKY for serving as our emcee, to @barrforsenate, @AlvaradoForKY, @EdGallrein, and Maria Rodriguez for addressing the crowd, and to all of our supporters who joined us Saturday evening and made the event a tremendous success!

Fancy Farm is almost here! I’ll see you at the first weekend in August alongside @buzzbaker and @JamesComer. Maybe Charles Booker will make it, although it is west of I-65!

This petition is about respecting Kentucky's constitutional system. At the same time, my focus hasn't changed. We're preparing for what will be the greatest Kentucky State Fair in our history as we celebrate America's 250th birthday. Agriculture built this Fair, and we're going to keep agriculture at the heart of this once-in-a-generation celebration.
Attorney General Russell Coleman@kyoag

KY's Constitution is clear. The powers of the executive branch are divided between the governor & the Commonwealth's other statewide officers. The State Fair Board & the Ethics Commission will operate more effectively out from under his thumb. More: kentucky.gov/Pages/Activity…

Credit where it's due. Governor @AndyBeshearKY, @colmonelridge, and @MorganEavesKY have done fantastic work driving people away from the @KyDems. Everywhere you look across the Commonwealth, there are fewer Democrats today than there were just a few years ago.
James Comer@JamesComer

In advance of Fancy Farm Picnic, I want to point out to media: - Since Beshear’s election, there are 311K less Ds & 151K more Rs - KY has 250K more Rs than Ds - KY-1 has 90K more Rs than it had in 2015 😉

.@AndyBeshearKY, this is what happens when you allow driver's licenses to be sold under the table to illegal aliens. You put people's lives in danger. And for what? To score sympathy points with the radical wing of the Democrat Party? It's past time you put the safety of Kentuckians ahead of partisan politics and worked with Republicans to deport those who are in the country illegally.
Nick Sortor@nicksortor

🚨 INFURIATING: Democrat KY Gov. Andy Beshear is REFUSING to stop issuing driver licenses to illegals driving MULTI-TON TRUCKS with NO ABILITY to speak basic English INNOCENT AMERICANS ARE DYlNG. BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS, @AndyBeshearKY This guy wants to be elected PRESIDENT in 2028. CAN’T HAPPEN!

Charles Booker's socialist agenda would devastate Kentucky's economy and leave working families to pay the price. Kentuckians know socialism doesn't work. It never has, and it never will. Reject Booker's radical agenda and send a message to the national Democrat bosses funding his campaign: socialism is DOA in the Commonwealth.

.@SenMcConnell addressed his statement to his fellow Kentuckians, which includes Governor @AndyBeshearKY... Unless, of course, the Governor's recent travels to presidential battleground states have him confused about his identity? If Andy actually wanted answers instead of attention, he could pick up the phone and call Senator McConnell. But that wouldn't generate the headlines he's after. This was never about transparency. It's about making himself part of the story.

Today, @Booker4KY called on @SenMcConnell to step down because he claims the Senator can no longer "fulfill his responsibilities" to Kentucky. What he won't tell you is that Senator McConnell accomplishes more for Kentucky in a single day than Booker could in a lifetime. Chuck was an inconsequential state legislator and is an incompetent candidate whose biggest accomplishment is losing multiple statewide races while racking up millions in campaign debt. He’ll never be a U.S. Senator, and nobody cares what he thinks about anything. Kentucky voters will remind him of that again in November.

From health care to driver's licenses, @AndyBeshearKY's administration has allowed fraud to run rampant. Meanwhile, Kentucky Republicans are fighting for accountability. We're grateful to have a champion in @RCforAG holding bad actors accountable and protecting your money.
RAGA@RepublicanAGs

Fraud has consequences. Attorney General @RCforAG has brought more than a dozen healthcare fraud indictments and uncovered over $37M in Medicaid repayment requirements this year. That's real accountability.

We are thankful to see our senior U.S. Senator, @SenMcConnell, recovering and doing well. We look forward to seeing him back in the U.S. Capitol and around the Commonwealth very soon. Please join us as we pray for his continued good health and wellbeing.
CSPAN@cspan

Statement From Senator Mitch McConnell WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following note to constituents regarding his hospitalization and recovery: “To my fellow Kentuckians – “When you elected me to a seventh term and made me our Commonwealth’s longest serving Senator, you did so trusting that I’d keep showing up to fight for you every day. And over the past several weeks, Elaine and I have appreciated both your well wishes and your honest questions about what was keeping me away from the Senate. “You all know how folks of my generation often hesitate to share the vulnerability that comes with growing older. Even in the public eye, I feel that same instinct – I can’t help it. “But at the same time, I’ve had more than my share of experience with physical vulnerabilities. Surviving childhood polio meant spending my entire life with mobility challenges. They haven’t exactly gotten easier to manage with age. And last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital. “My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia. “I can assure you that I’ve been a good patient. At my age, I tend to do what my doctors tell me to do. I’ve submitted to every test they can think of to help figure out what caused this incident. And I’m continuing to do everything they ask to speed my recovery. In fact, with signs of continued progress, I’ve been able to move from hospital care to a rehabilitation center where I’ll keep regaining my strength. “As much as it frustrates me, this process takes time. And on the advice of my doctors, I won’t be able to return to the Senate floor to vote quite yet. But rest assured that, in the meantime, I’m not taking a break from the Senate business that matters to you. I’ve been working closely with my legislative staff on current issues, and with my Kentucky team who help me provide timely constituent services across our Commonwealth. I’ve also been keeping in touch with my Senate colleagues on the appropriations process, midterm politics, and everything in between. “You’re right to expect your representatives to work hard for you. And part of my decision to retire at the end of my term this coming January was being honest about the demands of Senate work. But I still have unfinished business to complete on your behalf, and I have every intention of finishing the job you elected me to do. “I’ll keep working hard to get back on the Senate floor as soon as possible. And I’ll keep you posted on the progress of my recovery. Until then, I’m so grateful for your prayers and well wishes.” ### From the Office of the Attending Physician: “Senator McConnell has experienced several falls throughout the year that have been attributed to his post-polio condition. He was admitted to the hospital four weeks ago after falling at home and sustaining minor injuries. “A comprehensive evaluation by a multidisciplinary team determined that he had no fractures, cardiac abnormalities, stroke, tumor, or hemorrhage. Early in his hospitalization, he developed pneumonia, which responded rapidly to antibiotic treatment. “The remainder of his hospital stay focused on physical therapy and strategies to reduce his risk of future falls. He has been medically cleared to continue fully participating in his intensive physical therapy program.”
