Official RAM specs don't necessarily include timings. Another example taken from the Ryzen 9 7950X3D product page, see screenshot below. There is no JEDEC standard for DDR5-3600. In summary, while AMD's official RAM specifications might align with certain aspects of JEDEC standards, they are not equivalent.

Nah, I published 3 launch articles (11900K, 11400F, 12900K) all using official RAM specs, except DDR5 benchmarks for the 12900K, because DDR5-4400 (1DPC) is extremely slow. The 7950X3D article explicitly was an OC test. Btw, official RAM specs != JEDEC. Guys, a bit more fact checking before posting would be nice.
TechnicallyLogic@TechnicallyLog1

Kinda funny seeing you of all people call JEDEC "proper testing". To be clear, I agree, JEDEC is the proper way to test. But virtually all of your own RPL-S vs Z4X3D benches you post use heavily OC'd DDR5 with tuned sub-timings.

@BlurBusters What about different resolutions? Unless reviewers disclose the speed and/or show the Sync Track, there is no way to tell if the comparison is fair. IMO, Testufo should ask the user the diagonal of the display and calculate the velocity in m/s.

@Bra1nlet A new version of TestUFO 2.0 is coming out that will fix this problem. Keep tuned.

@HardwareUnboxed It's important to note that the UFO speed often is different due to the refresh rate. I believe the real speed can be calculated with: round(speed / refreshRate) * refreshRate.

To be completely transparent about our transparent quality presets, based on feedback from you (the viewer) we moved away from testing every game with high/ultra and used the requested medium/low presets for competitive titles such as Fortnite, PUBG, CSGO and so on.
Eisenkocher@Eisenkocher

@hover389 @CapFrameX @m3gaclite @HardwareUnboxed To be fair Hardware Unboxed has this interesting behavior of inconsistent presets for tests. Sometimes high, sometimes medium, sometimes ultra, and it tends to be chosen in a way that AMD profits. At least that is my observation.
