This iteration of the Leafs is not making me miss Mitch Marner or Kyle Dubas. Never. It’s making me miss Nazem Kadri, Zach Hyman, Leo Komarov, Colton Orr, Matt Martin, Frazer McLaren, Mark Fraser, and the Kulemin-Grabovski-MacArthur line. Take me back to 2013 when my favourite team overachieved on the back of sheer grit and determination. Or even 2017 when they still had some leaders on the team with HEART and did the same. What a wasted era.

Rielly can be moved likely due to his play this year. Might be time to make a change and get away from that contract.

I watch a lot of hockey, and you see the same thing from top players across the NHL. Not every shift is going to be flawless, and not every decision is going to be perfect. Fatigue sets in, they are human.

Main difference between Bedard, Carlsson, other top young players, and Fantilli is that Fantilli isn't getting 1st line and Pp1 usage due to a different team context. When he does, he'll also establish himself as one of the better players in the league.
