BREAKING: Fox News has abruptly settled their case with Dominion Voting Systems Judge Eric Davis has announced in the courtroom. Here’s what we know: - A jury was already selected. - Attorneys were preparing to deliver their opening statements. - In order for the settlement to have been accepted by Dominion, the monetary sum offered must have been STAGGERING. - Dominion publicly demanded a retraction which Fox News has thus far refused. Since Dominion’s primary goal is to clear their name, it would not be out of the ordinary for some sort of retraction to be part of the settlement. The suit arose after Dominion Voting Systems accused the network of knowingly broadcasting false conspiracy theories that the voting machine company rigged the 2020 presidential election in Joe Biden's favor. While some might be disappointed by the development that a jury won’t decide damages, this settlement will serve its purpose in damaging Fox News’ credibility and likely cost them monetarily. It’s still not a good day for Fox News.
