Reserved at car at @Avis month ago for a family get away. Needed a full sized suv. After getting email after email telling me to get ready, just to go and pick up and no car. Waited almost 4 hours to settle for lesser car. And I’m a president club member


WTF is with car rental companies taking PREPAID RESERVATIONS and then when you land they “don’t have any cars”. Yes I’m looking at you @Avis . Not to mention I’m “Presidents Club” and rent 2 or 3 weeks every month. Counter “bro” had audacity to say “Come back in the morning, we might have cars then.” I just flew in, it’s almost 1am, my hotel is an hour away, and I have an 8am meeting tomorrow. I’m Fing livid.

Learned your lesson, my guy. NEVER use @Avis


@Avis how do I get to a human being? I left keys to my apartment at Dulles airport location around June 24. Mailbox full. No one answers calls! I filed a report already. Going to fly into Dulles today. Will be at rental but does that office close at 3 pm? Won't be there until 5.



@Avis @sknittany I also got one. It’s a common scam specific to Avis/Budget. Just do a quick Google search and you’ll see how frequently they try it.



@kobham @Avis Leave a note in the key drop at the rental office with your information and phone number, when you arrive at Dulles.



@Avis Epic fail! Your chatbot says you accept temporary licenses for rentals. I get to the pick up location and they won't accept it. #epicfail @enterprisecares accepts it and will pick me up from your #fail location.
