BULLSHIT. Change your oil every 3-5k regardless of what the owner's manual tells you, especially if you have direct injection (GDI) and/or a turbo.
Oil is cheap compared to engine replacement.

You know you really don't have to change your oil every 3000 miles right? That that is just a marketing ploy to get you to change your oil more often than needed. While it might have been true decades ago, it is no longer true for most newer models. If you look in most manuals many car makers today rec 5,000 miles to 10,000 or longer due to synthetic oil and modern engines. Not sure when to change your oil? check out your manufacturer recommendations. With the current shortage of some oil blends its important to know you can probably wait to change your oil until the supply lines are back to normal. Stop panicking.

Most states allow "self-insurance", but only large corporations or the stupidly wealthy are usually able to do it.
It usually requires at least 25 or 50 vehicles and a minimum of several million dollars sitting in a specific type of restricted account.
FL, GA & HI allow individual self-insurance... but they require insane amounts of cash or securities to be held by the state for the entire insured period.

I had an @amazon delivery guy pull in my driveway in a nice $50 k+ car to deliver a package. He had no teeth, didn’t speak English, and couldn’t understand me or the instruction delivery notes I have on my account. Looked Venezuelan.
We are completely invaded by a class of people living better than the taxpayers. Unacceptable. I wish Amazon would stop hiring invading foreigners who don’t speak English.
