Can confirm. While I don’t miss it, JUCO has to be the most gritty, pure form of baseball one can experience.
On another note, a lot of my addictions did also originate during my time in JUCO. Someone’s gotta do it.

I’ve been watching a lot of the Juco World Series this week on ESPN+, and it’s the purest form of baseball I’ve seen in ages. No K zone. No radar gun. Dodgy field. Just guys chasing dreams and a ring. I couldn't love it more. Especially considering this is who’s pitching tonight.

I went to school with a guy who played MLB for 7 seasons. By 10 years old, he wasn’t just very good, he was the most dominant player any of us had ever seen.

IS ANYONE ELSE TIRED OF RETIREMENT ANXIETY?
I used to worry constantly about having enough money to retire. As a single parent and small biz owner, it often feels so discouraging.
I invest what I can. In crypto, in stocks, I have a mortgage, my son has a ROTH (he’s 13 and I pay him to clean my business). I LOVE investing. I truly enjoy it.
Until recently, I was obsessed with crunching numbers. I would wake up at night worrying about not having enough to retire. Or being “behind.” Or AI taking jobs. Or the economy destroying my businesses.
I was doing fine financially until 2024, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After emerging from treatment in 2025, I just could’t grind like I used to. My body said no. And despite my best efforts, my income decreased 20%. And medical insurance costs went up a lot.
Will I get to the $3M mark that I need for retirement? Probably not (just being realistic).
But my opinion changed recently. My perspective shifted.
I decided that I just want to be happy and present for my son. I love our home. I love my little businesses. I work hard. But I’m no longer lying awake at night worrying about the things I used to.
I’m still investing. I’m paying extra principal on my mortgage. I contribute to my ROTH every month. I’m financially responsible.
But, I’m going to take vacations. I’m going to buy cute clothes bc I rarely do that. I’m going to live my life and do fun things with my family.
There’s a balance to all this stuff, and I learned all too well that tomorrow is never promised. Constantly stressing about the future truly steals the joy of the present.
Am I the only one who feels this way? Surely there must be others out there who are tired of financial anxiety.

If I know Schwab, they likely won't let this stand. Others will prob undercut too.
