The Senate doesn’t get to ignore its duty and give Secretary Mayorkas a pass for his border disaster. I’m bringing business to a halt until we give the American people the trial promised by their Constitution.
I spoke in person today with a couple of people who work at a local Tesla store. One of them has been working there for 7 years. I asked them what the #1 concern they hear from people who walk in is. They said range anxiety. They added that people feel they need 500 miles of range. The average gas car doesn’t have anywhere near that range, and chargers, especially in urban areas, are commonplace. Most people just charge at home anyway. They also said many people think a Tesla's starting price is $30k-$50k higher than it actually is.

Ah. It would be the state portion of the sales tax WITHIN THE DISTRICT ... So it wouldn't be statewide. It also says the team, if we get something, will be The Utah [fill in the blanks] and not The Salt Lake [somethings]. Wilcox: This area has needed assistance for some time.
