The first time I ever sat down and actually tracked my expenses for a month and saw what I was leaking in cash, that's when I knew what people meant by the saying "It's not how much you earn. It's how much you keep."

My entire house has been down with the sickness for over 10 days. I haven’t posted or interacted on X in that time frame. I’ve lost 80+ followers. This platform is very peculiar to me.

I struggled a bit, yes. I played baseball all my life all the way up through 4 years of college. I didn’t realize it at the time but clearly, I’d placed my identity in sports for most of my life. So naturally, when it was over, I had little to no direction in my life nor did I really know who I was. A valuable lesson I’ve learned not to place one’s identity in something external.

Former athletes…did yall struggle when it was over?

When's the last time someone gave you butterflies?

@KenGuient For me, that advice would have been to respect that shiny object syndrome is a very real thing and to avoid it at all cost. To pick ONE thing and go all in on that.

What's the best advice for someone who just started building online?

@theficouple That "I have time" mentality is a killer. It got me in my 20's and most of my 30's before I finally woke up. As a coach and mentor, I preach and preach and preach to my teens and 20's age clients to please start investing NOW. By the time they're 40 they'll be so happy they did.

How do you reset when you’re feeling low?

You don’t owe these people an explanation of your family dynamic. I think it’s incredibly tacky for someone to ask you to prove your wife’s contribution to y’all’s lifestyle and goals. Just remember one thing, the only ones who question you and project any type of negatively your way aren’t happy or doing as well as you I can assure you. Happy people aren’t questioning others. They’re rooting for others.

Let me make something abundantly clear for those who are curious… I met my wife 11 years ago when neither of us had 2 pennies to rub together Everything you see today, we’ve built TOGETHER My wife has an extremely successful career and she takes care of 95% of the household responsibilities while I go out and earn more money… Just because she doesn’t post on the internet doesn’t mean she doesn’t play a massive role in our success up until this point We are a TEAM. I hope that addresses your concerns 💯
