I graduated college with two degrees. When I was only 20 years old. I didnt go to my graduation. Why not? Ive never cared for assembly line celebrations. If everyone is special, no one is special. I was proud of myself.....and that was more than any ceremony could do for me.

Is Bitcoin still...like, a thing? No laser eye accounts. No, "Bitcoin or die"-type posts. Should I call in a wellness check on the Bitcoin bros?

Buy a $100,000 depreciating vehicle = “Congrats, I'm so proud of you!" Invest $100,000 in real estate or stocks = “Omg be careful, that's super risky.”

Spoke with a doctor from Austin, TX: They currently have $140,000 in a savings account. Considering putting it in the S&P 500 but worried about value now being all time high. May instead put their money in a 12 month CD giving them guaranteed 4.5%. ...What would you do!?

Is $1M still enough to retire on in 2026? I'll go first: No. Not even close in most major cities. A 4% withdrawal rate gives you $40K/year. That's $3,333/month BEFORE taxes.

I disagree My now wife and I obsessed over saving and investing in our 20s (pretty much all we did was work) Now at 33 she stays home with our infant daughter and our investments can pay our bills and then some... All because of what we did in our 20s sacrificing years for financial independence now was the best thing we ever did. Now we spend half the year with family/friends and spend our time how we want.

FIRE is terrible. Don’t waste your 20s and 30s saving every single penny and never having any experiences. Foster relationships now. Go out on dates. Go on road trips and camp outs. Try out a cruise, you may even enjoy it. Go have experiences with friends. My oldest brother that I talk to frequently is a surgeon, believe me, there are no guarantees in life. You have no clue how your health will hold up over time. It’s crazy to me that a group of people will throw away their 20s and 30s in hope that there’s some magical happy point in their 40s. It’s very misguided.

Most people quit investing right before compounding kicks into high gear. The first 5–7 years feel slow. Then one day you look up and the growth feels almost unfair. Time in the market > timing the market. Always has been. Always will be.

You’re down to 1 final rental property. Your tenant calls and says he’s moving out May 15th. You bought the house in 2020 with a 3% interest rate, cash flows nicely, and your percent equity is 71.4%. Also, you want to relocate across country with your family. What’s your move?

I called my insurance provider about the possibility of switching my primary residency and convert it to a rental property so it’ll be a landlord policy. It went from $180 monthly to $140 monthly So pretty much they want me to rent the place instead of me living in it. Interesting data point

It took us 7 years to get $100,000 invested in the stock market. 3 years after that, we crossed $200,000. This week, 1.5 years later, we crossed $300,000. Compound growth is a beautiful thing and I’m grateful we’ve stayed consistent! *BTC in cold storage not included*
