The Hurricanes have dominated time of possession, o-zone time & shot attempts. That's not a surprise. It's what they do. However, the Canadiens are a couple of breaks away from a 3-0 series lead. Maybe a shake up of the lines could help generate more offense.

@islanders_takes Canes fan here. MSL is a fantastic coach. Do not let him get away. The playoff experience for a young team is invaluable. A few piece changes and the Habs could be a contender. Congrats deserved for getting this far.

I've said it before that MTL likely requires a different coach to get over the hump. But you have to hope that, if that happens and MSL isn't a part of it, that people remember his part in helping this young core grow in confidence and ability.

Don't get it twisted with the officiating or missed calls. The Hurricanes absolutely DOMINATED that hockey game. Held Montreal without a shot over the final 25 minutes of the game

I played from six years old and played into my adulthood. Knee issues in my mid 30s stopped me. I agree it’s about the only positive at this point but I don’t believe the players think that way. On to the next game and put the negative behind. Believe that you can win and move ahead.

I think this series is over. 2 straight OT losses will demoralize the heck out of a team. Carolina is stronger, faster, more tenacious, more motivated. They’re just better. The fact these 2 games went to OT with 24 combined shots is lunacy too. We look completely outmatched and barring a completely transformed team in game 4, I don’t think we can outlast this Canes team.

MSL is getting badly outcoached by Rod Brind’amour’s system He has no answer to the high tempo for forechecking system Habs are surviving for the entirety of the game and can barely cross the centre of the ice If things don’t get fixed this series is over in 5

@DemidovHabs classic everyone jumping to conclusions after yet another coin toss OT - maybe after game 4's outcome you can start to speculate but there's still a ton of hockey left to play, and Carolina still has some major problems
