Working with family means the hard conversations happen. No politics. No ego protection. Just the truth. It's not easy. But it's real.

Metal hardware is a completely different design language than I'm used to. Humbling. Exciting. Frustrating. Worth it.

Most ads have half a second of dead space at the start. That kills them before they start. Even after that, most hooks are still wrong. Brands think the first 3 seconds is one job. It's two. 0 to 1 earns attention. 1 to 3 earns trust.

The founders I most respect have one thing in common: They don't complain. They just build.

I've modeled in two photoshoots that had nothing to do with Brevite this month. Not something I planned for 2026 but here we are 😂 Step out of your lane sometimes, it's good for you!

The gap between a great idea and a great product is: material selection, tooling, sampling, QC, lead times, shipping, and about 47 other things that will humble you. Worth it though.

Treat your organic social channels like a performance channel I honestly hate the debate between the two: brand vs. performance but if something isn't working on social. either stop doing it or figure out what needs to be changed

Some of the best founder advice I ever got: "Say no to the good so you can say yes to the great." Still working on it.

how come every time I try to use claude code it just fails at even the simplest things, but everyone seems to have massive success with it?

I started a podcast with my close friend @NotZainAgain 40 days ago. We just hit 200 subs. Having a blast. Tested a few different formats and I think we finally found our flow recently. We have some really cool stories coming on soon: A guy who sold his DTC sports brand and pivoted to community and Pilates Someone who bought a tiny brand and took it nationwide into target by leveraging TikTok shop. Brought on a friend to explain to me why everyone is mad about Amazon at the moment (I’m dumb) Is this just an excuse for me to learn more about cool people? Yes.

In 2017, I moved to Miami to start my first company. We were broke, sleeping on a row of air mattresses in a one-bedroom apartment. Me, my mom, brother and 3 childhood friends. $9,000 between the three of us. No jobs. No plan B.

There's a version of you that's busy all day and gets nothing important done. Most founders live there. Don't be that founder. Get an EA.

Vibe coded my first full platform this month. Six months ago I would've said that was impossible for me. The tools are getting wild. Getting some cool traction!

The factory relationship is everything in physical products. Not just a vendor. A partner. Took us years to figure that out.

Most people think building a brand is about marketing. It's not. It's about building something worth marketing.
