@StoolBaseball So there’s no clause that allows the Braves to walk away if a player fails to pass a PED test?

Listen to @AletheDenis . She is your neighborhood, friendly hacker.

@dasgrog @tanmayg It’s not about the complexity of the command - it’s about the wrapper/story. Attackers frame it as “IT support,” break steps into small actions, borrow authority/urgency, and normalize the weirdness. People don’t think they’re executing malware; they think they’re fixing/helping.

@dasgrog @IAMERICAbooted We had a customer acquire another company. During that onboarding, I noticed they had a Server 2003 VM still running. I shut it off for a scream test. Nobody noticed.

Getting FTE jobs is the easy part. Getting orgs to let you help them when youre not a consultant? Not so easy. In consulting, you bypass ALL the silos, have any privilege you need to do the work, and go straight to the top with your findings. Orgs have great employees. They already know the problems. They can fix all the things themselves if they were empowered to do so. Consultants will always serve a major role though: when youre at the top and have to make decisions about the strategy of each department, everyone is coming to you with fire alarms and pushing their own agendas to get work done. Consultants dont have to worry about politics, pecking orders, cliques, popularity contests, pissing people off, none of that. They give a no bullshit assessment because they dont have to deal with the ripple effects through the org of all the people that will hate them for raising an issue.

Big news for Red Team nerds Many have expressed desire to perform offensive operations against foreign adversaries on behalf of the United States government. However, pay is atrocious and having a wear military gear and live on base to do nerd stuff is lame Now you can target governments, at home, in your pajamas, with anime on in the background This is excellent news (the Chinese government has been doing this for a long time)
