I can’t lie for a while I was thinking Why am I even here anymore Share a 1000x and get shit on regardless so what’s the point I felt close to just abandoning this account and just living life without this But at this point.. I have zero risk in my life because I got pretty much everything I wanted in my life It def helps that I didn’t want a private jet and $1 billion dollars So what’s the point of being here anymore? I see all the genuine… good real, solid people.. and realize it’s about the 10% of G’s If I can help you guys, fuck what the other 90% got to say It would be dumb of me to let the 90% of braindead retards override my ability to be here for the 10% and support yall how I can Whether it’s mindset, advice, a future play it makes sense to me to stay here for the 10% of G’s and just support yall and show yall how im thinking about my life from this point foreword so you can take little nuggets and apply to ur own life or what ur doing I actually WANT to be here now for the 10% Whereas before I got annoyed by the 90% to the point that I was ready to fuck off Yall got my back, I want to have yours and actually boost/support you. I’m gonna dedicate my mindset and account to boosting the 10% The 90%, fuck yo selves

@jeffsentell Kid wasn’t going to see much playing time. Can’t blame him for wanting to see the field & get a bigger bag. He may also have a feeling Georgia is gonna be going after a top receiver in the portal.

@NashTalksTexas Mann, Texas only drove down the field 1 time the entire game. Kirby was not worried at all about Texas driving down the field.

Going for the onside kick was him cementing that respect. Fail & you give Texas prime position to get themselves back into the ball game, as opposed to making us drive down the field. He knew that Texas wasn't dead yet and could rise off the mat, twist and pull the dagger.

Couple of last thoughts on this play 1) Kirby Smart is an absolute psychopath 2) It shows the respect he has for this Texas team He knew that this was when they needed to flip momentum & go for the kill, if it doesn't go UGA's way...Texas is in prime position to take the lead

If you remember, that 5th ranked Notre Dame team then beat higher ranked Georgia and Penn State and was in a one score game with Ohio State in the natty late in the 4th. Soo the committee was right in ranking them top 5 last year? Maybe they might possibly be correct in ranking them top 10 this year? If anything, they proved to be under-ranked last year, and advanced metrics will tell you they’re under-ranked again rn.
Jon Tweets Sports@jontweetssports

Notre Dame lost to N Illinois at home last year & ended up with just 1 win vs a team in the CFP top 25 prior to the playoff & the committee ranked them 5th. Bama has wins over #4, #14, #20 & #22 and the committee won’t rank them above ND because of week 1 vs FSU? Insane.

I want every SEC matchup in the playoff. Give me GEORGIA. Give me Oklahoma. Give me Texas A&M. Give me Ole Miss. Give me Alabama. I don’t care. We’ll run through the entire conference - and after the Southern cult will still pretend the SEC reigns supreme.

Takeaways went up this AM, but didn’t post on here because of the cloud fare outage This week’s takeaways starts in my car last Friday afternoon, as Van Morrison’s 1982 song ‘Cleaning Windows’ came on shuffle while I was in traffic Anyways, here’s an excerpt. I didn’t ask for my brain to work this way… 4) If we didn’t already know it, Saturday night was yet another reminder that Kirby Smart is a coach in his prime. His brilliance is captured by one of the main themes of Morrison’s song- Finding joy in mastering repetitive tasks. AllMusic’s Bill Janovitz once wrote that Morrison's image of "cleaning windows" doubles as "a metaphor for Zen-like clarity, seeing the essence of life via the repetition of basic chores." At Georgia, those chores are simple. You must block and tackle violently, and you must be mentally and physically conditioned enough to do those things for four quarters And boy, did Georgia tackle on Saturday night. UGA’s defense knocked the Texas front back over and over, leaving white helmets grasping for red jerseys all night. When it was over, the effects of all that trained physicality were laid on display. Georgia missed just 2 tackles over 60 plays from scrimmage, stopping the Longhorns for less than 2 yards on half of their rushing attempts while tallying 3 sacks and a season-high 30 QB Pressures Smart’s message of composure and physicality has been the same for a long time, but the kicker is that Georgia does it for longer and more consistently than anyone else in the sport. In an era where NIL and the transfer portal has caused almost every blue-chip recruit to think in terms of personal branding and immediate monetary value, Smart’s culture reboot this offseason centered around “fire, passion and energy” and Georgia played with it.   Saturday night, at its core, was a reminder that some things cannot be bought. This is Kirby Smart’s next iteration. After the 2021 Florida game, when Georgia had laid to rest the narratives around Dan Mullen’s development being enough to out maneuver Smart’s recruiting, Kirby gave us a quote that I have cited dozens of times since… "There's no coach out there that can outcoach recruiting. I don't care who you are... Anybody will tell you that our defense is good because we have good players." The Kirby Smart who built Georgia into a national title winner seemed to closely follow the Saban blueprint. That blueprint’s overarching philosophy was that any problem was solvable if you threw enough talent at it.  This Kirby Smart, the one who is operating in the portal/NIL era, seems to be more concerned with culture fits than ever before. Gone are the days where getting drafted was the only way for a college football player to ensure his financial future. Smart’s message after the game was loud and clear… “We talked about what’s not for some people is for others. And the hardest part of SEAL training is when they go after the hype phase. Everybody’s hyped up, and everybody’s hyped up to kick off. But when they go to that water phase, and they go down and do the water torture, surf torture, not everybody wants it. It’s not for everybody. And people start ringing the bell, and we wanted our guys to take it to the water, and see who wanted to ring the bell, and be the most physical team. They enjoy that, they enjoy that personality.” 5) It is important to remember that it was not too long ago that all of this felt like it could be in jeopardy. Do you remember Arian Smith’s quotes at the Senior Bowl? I do. He said that 2024 Georgia had not felt as close as the teams he’d been on earlier in his career. He called out how the brotherhood had disappeared. Over Smart’s decade long maturation as a head coach, it is possible that is most brilliant move is the one he pulled this offseason when he repackaged the principle of TEAM > ME as “fire, passion and energy.” I continue to think that every move that was made over the last 10.5 months was made to try and clot the wound…

12 TAKEAWAYS GEORGIA VS TEXAS - A Working Man In His Prime Time and again, Texas has made it clear it has the resources to buy whatever it fancies. Fortunately for Georgia, some things can’t be bought. This iteration of Kirby Smart is proving to be well suited to cultivating those things. On Saturday night, Georgia showed just how much distance it has traveled. Distance between this year and last year’s UGA teams, and improvement from August to now, but also the distance between Georgia and Texas that star ratings don’t quite capture. On a coach in his prime, and a night filled with appropriate metaphors.
