I know he’s 6 assists behind Bruno, but he’s the most creative player in the league, in a way a Bruno can’t be. Because creativity isn’t just numbers alone, it’s type of chances you create. Bruno Fernandes is a volume creator. He plays early, he plays often, he forces situations. A lot of his creativity comes from repetition crosses, through balls, set-pieces, constant risk-taking. That’s why the assist numbers are always high. It’s pressure over time. But Rayan Cherki is a different kind of creator entirely. He creates chances that aren’t supposed to exist. So even if the stats say Bruno is ahead, the reality is… Bruno creates more chances. Cherki creates harder chances,Bruno relies on repetition, Cherki relies on invention And when you talk about pure creativity, that’s where Cherki sits in a space Bruno simply doesn’t operate in.

His father, Dusman Okee Sr. (5 January 1942 – 3 January 2016), was an Acholi army officer and his mother was a Munyankole. When Mao was eight months old, his biological mother Christina Bitwababo abandoned him alone in a house in Mbarara before she mysteriously disappeared to an unknown place. His father, an army officer, was away for his routine work only to return in the evening and was shocked to find his little boy abandoned and had cried a hell out of himself all day. He put him in a car the next morning and drove all the way to Gulu but around Karuma, he had wanted to let the little innocent soul in Mao get carried away by the strong waters of the Nile river, God made him change his mind however. Mao was raised by his grandmother Yunia Lakop and his auntie Christine Amoo Lalela He attended Mwiri Primary School in Jinja and briefly went to Wairaka College in Jinja District before attending Namilyango College, a prestigious all-boys boarding high school in Mukono District from 1982 until 1988. He then attended Makerere University from 1988 until 1991, graduating with a law degree. He served as the president of the Makerere University Students Guild between 1990 and 1991 and went on to obtain the Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center in 1992.
