We are photojournalists. This is what we see in SF. Mayor Breed lost her reelection because of this. The voters have spoken. Can Daniel clean it up?

My father started going to House of Prime Rib in the Navy and got to know Joe and Gus. When he got dementia he could still find his way there on Muni and would show up at opening time. They’d give him a nonalcoholic beer, call me to fetch him, and seat us for early dinner.

🎥September 23 2025 6:25am Location 6th & Market st This is one of the Main corridors into downtown San Francisco. You will have some people that will sugarcoat this and say this is homelessness, but it’s not this is all drugs, all drug addiction. Here in San Francisco homelessness does not lead people to use drugs. I believe people use drugs and then leave home. If you don’t believe that, come talk to people on the streets.

A few days ago, a bartender at Moe’s Steakhouse in Mission Beach was stabbed 7 times and nearly killed by a repeat criminal that was supposed to be in prison until 2027 but had been released 18 months early due to California’s Proposition 57. Despite a lengthy rap sheet, the alleged attacker served just half of a 3 year prison sentence. According to the state of California, nearly 2/3 of all convicts are arrested again within 3 years of release but just 17% actually return back to prison.

San Francisco Mayor Lurie is a social media influencer, painting a picture of our city as revived, full of parties, dances and fun coffee spots. Yet, the humanitarian disaster of drug markets persists. Taxpayers’ money thrown away, dealers protected.

This is the woman @DanielLurie is handing $40 million in opaque funding from his Billionaire Boys Club to “fix downtown.” She falsified documents to the federal government among other things. Lurie’s new catch phrase on Insta should be “Let’s go San Francisco grift!”

This point here by .@rubendiazjr Bronx Borough President to @Metrofocus @RafPiRoman is the reason why @NYCHA chair @SholaOlatoye had to go. He made this remark over 2 months ago

The Voice of San Francisco
Erica Sandberg took a cable car tour of SF and found a city split in two: postcard views and gritty reality. From pristine stations to boarded-up buildings and drug scenes, tourists see both sides. Is this the city we want them to remember? Read more: thevoicesf.org/san-francisco-…

This is serious: “Governor Gavin Newsom of California is actually trying to impose a bill that's going to take farmland away from all private owning farmers and distribute it to others” Gavin Newsom has a group of 'Agricultural Equity Advisers’ preparing a plan to seize farmland and redistribute it to racial minorities

The Sunset neighborhood hated turning this highway into a park so much they recalled their supervisor last night, even though SF voters approved it. Just because the city is famous for fighting and removing its freeways doesn’t mean everyone is on board.

I want to thank Supervisor Joel Engardio for his years of service and commitment to San Francisco. And I want to thank all the District Four residents who made their voices heard and participated in today’s special election.   As I campaigned for mayor last year, I heard countless west side families say what San Franciscans have been feeling for years: that their government is doing things to them, not with them, and that government is not working to make their lives better.   That’s why my administration has continued to communicate openly and transparently with San Franciscans on a wide range of important issues—from public safety and the behavioral health crisis to affordable housing and public space. This honest dialogue has bred a strong working relationship with the Board of Supervisors and a shared feeling that San Francisco is coming back stronger than ever. We will continue to be in constant communication with our partners in government and across communities as we work to make San Franciscans’ lives better—that means delivering a city that is safe and clean, where small businesses can thrive and the next generation of San Franciscans can afford to raise their children.   As votes are still being counted and the election will be certified in the coming weeks, our team is evaluating next steps for the District Four supervisor seat.

Businesses will come back if you punish the criminals. Businesses will come back if you clean up our city. Businesses will come back if you remove the drug dealers and users. ALL common sense. Worked before.......

As part of our all-hands-on-deck effort to bring back downtown SF, the private sector is stepping up. I look forward to working with the Downtown Development Corporation’s CEO, Shola Olatoye, to keep driving our comeback. This is great news for our city. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/san…
