Results from my Feb 23 skin therapy: Improvements since treatment: > Brown spots: +71 percentile points (20th → 91st) ✅ > Pores: +25 percentile points ✅ > Spots: +25 percentile points✅ My skin age is 9 years younger than my chronological age (39 vs 48) and hasn't aged in five years since starting this project. Effectively a 9 year age reversal. Measured using VISIA multispectral clinical imaging, the most validated non-invasive skin analysis system available. Feb 23 treatment summary Technologies > Everesse RF > CoolPeel CO2 laser > BBL Each targeting a different skin depth so repair windows overlap without competing. Treatment details Everesse RF (200 pulses, Level 2.5 per cheek), CoolPeel CO2 laser (3.0W, 700 micron spacing), and BBL broadband light. Each targeting a different skin depth. Everesse drives heat into the dermis at 60-70°C, triggering fibroblast activation and collagen production that peaks 6-8 weeks later (about now), tightening the structural scaffolding that makes pores visible. CoolPeel ablates the surface layer of skin, physically removing melanin-loaded cells and forcing fresh keratinocytes to the surface. BBL destroys residual pigment one layer deeper through selective photothermolysis, where melanin absorbs light energy and self-destructs. Porphyrins dropped 13 points, which is expected. The treatments temporarily disrupt the follicular environment that bacteria need to thrive, and that recovers within 8-12 weeks. Goal was to do a triple-modality stack so the repair windows overlap without competing (dermis, epidermis, and chromophores).

Everyone is reacting to Jack Dorsey’s point about AI flattening organizations. He’s right that AI will reduce layers. We’re already seeing that. Small teams can do more, faster, with better output. But I think the conversation is a bit off. The issue was never “too many layers.” It’s too much complexity and not enough accountability. Great managers (A players) aren’t overhead. They’re force multipliers. They set the standard, develop talent, and make sure things actually get done. AI can accelerate the work, but it doesn’t replace ownership. The real shift is this: Fewer people. Higher bar. Less coordination. More execution. AI everywhere. Accountability doesn’t change. That’s where the advantage will come from.

.@blocks is building what we think is the first real alternative to hierarchical coordination. For 2,000 years, humans have organized themselves in roughly the same way. AI changes what’s possible: Not a flatter org chart, but a fundamentally different information architecture, organized around a world model rather than a reporting structure. @jack and I wrote about what this looks like in practice, why it's different from past experiments, and why it may reshape how companies of all kinds organize in the coming decade.

Today, we're announcing Heaviside, our foundation model for electromagnetism. Trained on tens of millions of designs and over 20 years of proprietary simulation data, Heaviside predicts electromagnetic behavior from geometry in 13ms, which is 800,000x faster than a commercial solver. Heaviside is not a language model, and it’s not a surrogate model. Heaviside marks a new class of foundation model for physics which understands the fundamental relationships between materials, the geometries and the electromagnetic fields they generate. We’re releasing a research preview of Heaviside in Atlas RF Studio, an interactive agentic sandbox where you describe the EM behavior you want and the model generates the physical structure that produces it. @arenaphysica , we believe the implications of this class of model extend well beyond RF, as the frontier of exquisite hardware is electromagnetically-governed: wireless communication, radar, power delivery, high-speed computing, and the interconnects inside every chip on earth. In the months ahead, we’re excited to scale up Heaviside to broader frequency ranges, design spaces, and to support silicon-level designs, and deploy it with our closest partners and collaborators in service of their biggest design challenges. If you’ve read our thesis, this is just Step 2 in our pursuit of electromagnetic superintelligence. Read the full announcement and try Atlas RF Studio…tell us what you think: arenaphysica.com/publications/r…

Really special day in China with the @BauschLomb team. Spent time in business reviews, a global town hall, and meeting with customers. Nothing beats being there in person, listening, learning, and seeing the passion of our team and partners up close. It’s what makes this all real.

I’m increasingly concerned about the proliferation of skincare products claiming “exosomes” and meaningful efficacy. A few basic diligence questions matter: • What exactly are the exosomes? Source, purification, and proper characterization • Are they actually stable in the formulation over time? • Is there real human clinical data showing benefit? The science may be promising, but many products (not all) make claims that seem far ahead of the evidence.

Just read the @WSJ on the Supreme Court decision around Trump-era tariffs. So what happens next? Refunds for companies that already paid billions in duties? Does Congress step in? Or does the administration pivot to a new statutory mechanism to reimpose tariffs under different authority? My take: even if struck down, tariffs probably don’t disappear. They get redesigned. The policy goal stays. The legal pathway changes. Trade policy rarely moves backward. It just finds a new lane. Thoughts?
