There’s something beautiful about standing in a room full of people and watching the walls begin to come down.
Not because of hype.
Not because of performance.
But because something true is being remembered.
Every audience I speak to is filled with human beings carrying invisible stories of pressure, uncertainty, exhaustion, hope, longing, courage. And beneath all of it is the deep desire to feel connected again… to themselves, to each other, and to what’s possible.
That’s why I do this work.
Not simply to deliver a keynote, but to create moments where people feel seen. Moments where teams remember their humanity. Moments where possibility becomes more real than fear.
I believe every story has the power to return us to compassion, courage, and vision.
And when those things awaken in a room together, culture changes, relationships change, people change.
Grateful for every opportunity I get to step onto a stage and serve people in this way.

What a beautiful experience with Ivy Tech Community College! These heroes in education serve over 200,000 students a year, across 41 locations in Indiana. Every day, they are empowering opportunities for people who never thought they could succeed in higher education.
I arrived a day early to film on-camera interviews with several attendees. I edited those interviews overnight and included their powerful stories & insights into my keynote the next day.
It was a beautiful moment together. And the standing ovation at the end was really for all of them!
Grateful for another inspiring “Instant Storytelling” experience. I love my job!

I’m emerging from a 7-day meditation retreat.
In the whirlwind of the world, sometimes we lose sight of who we are. This retreat invited me back to simplicity.
“Beneath everything, who am I?”
There is no true answer to this question that the mind can comprehend. It is beyond understanding. Yet, in stillness & presence, a different kind of knowing arises.
It was a powerful week of self-inquiry & silence. Both challenging & beautiful. Feeling deep gratitude!

On a flight, the passenger next to me got really upset with a woman who didn't end her phone call after the cabin door was closed. The frustration and tension escalated as the passenger's demands for her to end the call were completely ignored. The passenger loudly repeated the rules about turning phones to airplane mode, with no effect.
After a few minutes of this, a flight attendant casually wandered by and asked the woman to stop her call. She immediately hung up. And we flew to Sacramento.
This experience reminded me to stop attempting to be the general manager of the universe.
Some of my greatest emotional struggles have been with problems that were not within my power to fix. I've invested lots of energy on those challenges, and I don't want to keep doing that.
Life often feels like a whirlwind, with so many things happening at once. I am committed to being whole-heartedly present with each moment. But, I also want to trust that a power bigger than me is going before me, guiding the journey, and taking care of the stuff I can't handle alone. That thought removes the emotional weight of trying to fix everything, leaving me free to be joyful, relaxed, and confident.
So, I'm happy that women kept talking on her phone, even though it was kinda annoying. She reminded me to do my work in the world, and then let go of the rest.
