@SgtDangerCow I have already put the game down and will only pick it up after patch days to see how things feel. Sad that the last 2 BF titles have been like this for me.

@SgtDangerCow My issue is simply it’s a “Creator” only. Creators need to have a voice but excluding community leaders both casual and comp, and people with massive technical knowledge just because they don’t provide free advertising is a miss. Game Changer program was better in that regard

I need to get something off my chest. If you are not part of the creator program, you have no idea what is said, what is actioned, what is done and what is not in feedback sessions There are some pretty wild assumptions going on and most of them miss the mark. That is all.

Something fascinating is happening in education right now. I recently went down a rabbit hole researching homeschooling, and the data is fascinating. Research from the National Home Education Research Institute shows homeschool students typically score 15–25 percentile points higher on standardized tests, and about 78% of peer-reviewed studies show homeschool students outperforming traditional school students academically. But what really surprised me was seeing it firsthand. I recently ran a financial literacy course through Classical Learner, and I was blown away by the students. One 14 year old was running a business with nine employees. And I began teaching a 9 year old the Buy Borrow Die strategy. Can you imagine learning a strategy used by billionaire families to build wealth… at age nine? What I saw with these homeschool students is that they weren’t memorizing facts for a test. They were thinking, building, and solving real problems. This ties directly into neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to rewire itself during childhood based on experience and learning environments. Research from Harvard University, Stanford University, and MIT shows that learning environments focused on problem solving and curiosity produce stronger long-term outcomes than education built primarily around memorization. Which leads to a simple observation. Students raised in environments that encourage independent thinking, entrepreneurship, and curiosity develop skills that compound over time. And that creates a massive competitive advantage for life. The great news for America is that roughly 7.8% of American children are now being homeschooled, and that number continues to rise as families look for education that prioritizes curiosity, entrepreneurship, and independent thinking. My fiancée showed me this video last night. An under discussed issue of immigration is that every service, every experience, will be covered in callousness. Listen to how this nurse, clearly an immigrant, speaking broken English, treats this woman who just lost her baby. 100 million deportations. Legal or not. I don’t want this nurse in my country.

Everyone needs to be aware of this Journalist Avery Daye exposes the history of Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar “Ilhan Omar — I figured not enough people know about her family’s history, so let’s recap: Her dad and her grandfather were both high-ranking military officials in the Barre regime, which killed over 200,000 people. They’re most famous for the Isaaq genocide — it was the worst of the worst: aerial bombings, executions, man-made famine. People massively suffered under this regime, with the help of people like Ilhan Omar’s family who supported the regime and carried out this, this horror. — They have family ties to this guy known as the Butcher of Hargeisa, and his whole shtick was “kill all but the crows.”” “So the suffering of the people of Somalia was so bad that there was a civil war and the regime was overthrown. Her family fled first to Kenya and then Minnesota, claiming they’re like these asylum seekers. These poor, poor people. No, no, no, no. They were fleeing to escape being held accountable for what they did. She was not oppressed. Her family, they were the oppressors.” “So for the Democratic Party to have her as a representative is insane to me — and the way that they’ve like rebranded her as all this poor refugee? No, no. She wasn’t a refugee of war. Her family created the war.”

Most business suicides are induced by not understand the difference between reported preference and revealed preference. If you run Testosterone Studios, maker of Angry Muscular Axe Guy Kills Demons in Hell, you might notice after a while that not very many women buy your games. Since your stockholders have a profound moral objection to other people having money and not giving it to them, they want you to correct this problem, stat. They want you to make Angry Muscular Axe Guy Kills Demons in Hell 2 sell to men AND women. So you sigh, shrug your shoulders, hire a bunch of female consultants, and ask them "What do women like?" "Feminism!" "Girlbosses!" "Strong Female Characters effortlessly outdoing men at everything!" "Gay stuff!" So Testosterone Games dutifully makes Petite Feminist Girlboss Replaces Angry Muscular Axe Guy, hoping that men will buy it because they bought the first one, and girls will buy it because it panders to what they were told girls want. Of course, nobody buys it. The men don't buy it because it's not what they liked in the first one, and women don't buy it because women couldn't care less about games where you fight demons in hell. If, instead of asking a bunch of consultants what women like (reported preference), they had looked at games women actually buy (revealed preference), they would have seen something very different. "Fruit Matcher 3000 for iPhone." "Point and Click Alice in Wonderland Studio Ghibli Adventure" "Something Something Hogwarts." And they would have realized, had they two brain cells to rub together, that you can't please everyone, because some people hate exactly what other people like. If you want more money, look at who is already buying your product, and see if you can make them like the next one better. Because I guarantee you aren't already selling to every single male on the planet. And don't hire video game consultants. They don't know how to sell games, and they don't care, because they don't want to sell games. They just hate men, and want to ruin things men like. If you hire them, they're going to have their fun, cash your check, and ride off into the sunset, while you lose your business. And indie studios, who know whether they are making Aliens Must Die or Barbie Horse Adventures, will replace you, which is the free market operating as intended.

@Battlefield players: “We want more skill expression!” mentions stamina or magazine reloads (classic BF mechanics) “NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!” 💀 So… do you want a harder game or not? ❄️❄️❄️
𝕽𝖎𝖉𝖊𝖗𝖝𝖈@RIDERXC666

Bad players want to drag everyone down to their level. That's why they cried for movement nerfs when it was already bad. They want everything catered to their low skill level. BF6 will have NO longevity in it's current state. They're killing the game.

@SteveSkojec Probably 80% of them. We were born in the early 80s to the mid 90s bro. I had dial up internet till I was 17 and used a walkman cassette player till I was 8 and then a walkman CD player till I was 15. Millennials are the bridging generation from pre and post internet technology.

There are no more slaves. There are no more slave owners. It’s NOT 1860. It’s 2026. And if you still see America only through the lens of chains and plantations, you’re ignoring the power of what this country actually is. My great-great-grandfather was born a slave on Rosedown Plantation just north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That’s not a history book. That’s my bloodline. Fast forward a few generations. Three of his great-great-grandchildren graduated from West Point. Three served in the United States military. At one point, my brother, my sister, and I were all deployed to Baghdad at the same time: defending this great nation. And now? One of his descendants is running for the United States Senate — and surging. Not because of the color of my skin. Not because of a box I check. But because of service. Because of character. Because I love this country and I’m willing to fight for it. And yes… I’ve done all of this as a conservative. Here’s the question no one on the left wants to answer: If America is systemically racist and permanently broken… how does a family go from slavery to West Point to combat deployments to United States Congress in just a few generations? That story doesn’t exist everywhere. It exists here. Let’s have that conversation.

We women live a terrifying double life. A mother will look at her teenage son with absolute, boundless empathy. She will hold him when he cries, tell him his feelings matter, and pray to God that he finds a woman who loves him for his pure heart, not his wallet. But that exact same woman will turn around and look at her husband, who is literally someone else’s grown son and treat him like a malfunctioning piece of farm equipment if he loses his job or shows a moment of emotional fragility. We completely compartmentalize the fact that the men we drain, stress out, and demand traditional protection from were once little boys who were promised that their hearts mattered. Look at the advice mothers pass down. It is pure, unfiltered hypocrisy. We sit our daughters down and say: "Never settle. Make sure he is a provider. If he is struggling financially, do not build him up, leave him. You deserve a King." But if a mother catches wind that her son's girlfriend is treating him that way? If her son loses his job and his girlfriend packs her bags? That mother will lose her mind. She will call the girlfriend a gold-digger. She will call her toxic. We are actively raising our daughters to become the exact type of women we pray our sons never meet.
