It is telling that those who oppose Elon Musk's investment in South Africa can offer nothing but hollow insults and cheap propaganda. The claim that Starlink is a tool for colonization isn't just daft, it reveals a hilarious level of cognitive shallowness. It proves that the critics don't even understand the technology they are arguing against. You cannot stop Musk's brilliance or the massive contributions he's making to humanity. We are simply witnessing a man who refuses to bend to a crooked system that everyone else has already bowed to. There is no reason to celebrate a status quo built on clear racism and systemic corruption.

The demand for Elon Musk to surrender 30% of his business to operate in South Africa is absurd. Bringing infrastructure, creating high-skill jobs, and expanding the national tax base should be more than enough contribution from any global entity. The South African government claims this is about compliance, but in reality, it's a system of state sanctioned theft. While other corporations have quietly paid for political patronage to bypass these rules, Musk is calling out the corruption. This 30% norm hasn't empowered the people, it has simply enriched a circle of political elites. Most businesses take the easy way out and pay the bribe, but Musk has the integrity to stand his ground and expose the rot.

Billionaire Johan Rupert has weighed in on South Africa’s connectivity crisis, saying "we need Elon Musk’s tech assistance, we need Starlink." 🇿🇦 This comes at a time when 13 million of South Africans still struggle with slow, expensive, or completely unavailable internet, calls like this are becoming harder to ignore. The reality is simple, the digital economy is moving fast, and without reliable, affordable connectivity, we risk leaving millions behind. Whether people agree with Elon Musk or not, the bigger issue is access, innovation, and opportunity. If global tech solutions like @Starlink can help bridge the digital divide, boost education, create jobs, and unlock rural connectivity… shouldn’t that conversation be taken seriously? South Africa must decide: are we prioritising progress or politics?

The more this thing is being forced, the more suspicious it is becoming. We definitely don’t want or need Starlink in South Africa ever.

@Sentletse It's actually for the benefit of South Africans without the ability to be here on X nor have access to the Internet. Quite important, even for socialist/communist indoctrinated victims, who's goverment has failed them.

@MadutungLerato Israel has Starlink. So does Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Mozambique, Eswatini, Lesotho, Ghana, Malawi. 27 Countries in Africa have Starlink. They didn't try to extort 30% of the business.

This is great. At least those judges who release violent criminals who go on to hurt more people will be publicly shamed!
JohnnyFSE@JohnnyFSE

I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded. It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇 Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. courtwatch.us @bennyjohnson @jockowillink @GrantCardone @LauraLoomer @nickshirleyy @j_fishback

Shame: The ANC in Limpopo allegedly rented a crowd to fill Giyani stadium. Unfortunately, their plan backfired because the stadium remained empty. Limpopo people are finally responding to the lies the ANC fed them for the past 31 years

R95 MILLION TENDER SCANDAL EXPOSES A BROKEN SYSTEM 💔🇿🇦 How does someone with no visible capacity land a R95 million contract while genuine, qualified businesses struggle for years just to be considered? This is not Black Economic empowerment this is exploitation of a weak and easily manipulated system. This is exactly why service delivery keeps collapsing… because tenders are not awarded on merit, but on connections, loopholes, and hidden hands behind the scenes. South Africans are tired. This is not corruption anymore, this is a system failure at the highest level. Can we please have people like Madlanga permanently overseeing accountability? Because clearly, what we have now is not working 🚨 #SundayTimesZA

ANC is after full control. State capture, corporate capture, school capture, sports capture, religious institutions capture. Nothing must be left uncaptured. Then income capture through draconian taxes - both number of taxes and tax rates. Regulate everything to death. Resultant poverty and unemployment leaves the citizen subservient to the state through inadequate grants.

“Socialism always attacks 3 basic social institutions: religion, the family, & private property. Religion, because it offers a rival authority to the state; the family, because it means a rival loyalty to the state; & property, because it means material independence of the state”
