I didn't see anything yet that did this for me. I think a really good D&D AR experience would be worth it. All my D&D friends live pretty far away, and the zoom / laptop experience is horrible. Tabletop simulator also doesn't do it for me.

OK here's my take on the apple headset - you will look stupid wearing it, but you also look stupid using a phone or laptop. All that matters is whether or not there's great software that comes out for it which is worth looking a little goofy to use.
