The baseball world lost a GREAT one last night. To our family Roy Clark was a Scout, a Mentor but most of all a true friend. He believed in @BrianBridges & stuck by him when others didn’t. He truly was a part of Brian’s life that cannot be replaced. We are heartbroken. 😔

@SFGiants Lee, one of the best scouts I was fortunate to work alongside! The guys that are now in the game that haven’t given guys like Lee the opportunity or credit! Well that is a whiff. Sorry, I was honored.

The #SFGiants are deeply saddened by the passing of Lee Elder, a longtime former Giants scout and advisor. Lee’s passion for the game, keen eye for talent, and dedication to our organization left a lasting impact on players, staff, and all who had the privilege to know him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Lee’s family, friends, and the many colleagues whose lives he touched throughout his baseball career 🧡

What a great story but an even better human being. We owe this man so much for saving my wife’s life. He was the lead surgeon who took out a tumor from the right side of my wife’s brain in July. He was hell of football player but he’s one of the best neurosurgeons in the world 🙏🏼
