I have no idea if they will put up a bill to include flower in the TCUP program during next session but let’s go down the rabbit hole. They took vapes away from hemp and gave them to the TCUP program last session. They just took away flower from the hemp side and we now have 12 new TCUP players that are all MSOs. This is their playbook so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if TCUP flower is a huge discussion. We shall see.

Giuseppe, if the hemp industry didn’t start selling THCA flower and making this plant mainstream we would still be a tagline in the grand scheme of things. I have my foot on both side of the fence that is cannabis and have for over 20 years. Hemp gave people access to this plant in states that still have their heads up their a$$es. Hemp gave people who shied away from our industry the cover to try it just by calling it hemp. There’s more to it brother.

You are such a joke. Now you’re complaining about $20,000,000 for a state-sanctioned monopoly to get a guaranteed head start and no competition for probably 2-3 years. 🤣 I hope the Governor changes it to $50,000,000 just because they lobbied it down to $10,000,000. As far as the $10,000 hemp license fee, That’s paying for zero protection in a competitive market that gets rewritten every legislative session. Acting like those are comparable isn’t just wrong, it’s lazy. You’re either pretending not to understand the difference, or you actually don’t. Neither is a great look.
