Today’s update from $NWBO management was not the one I was hoping for, saying in essence that a section of their submission to the MHRA needed revision and their consultant is away for two weeks. The stock went down this morning not unexpectedly. It may in fact be that the company can now in parallel submit applications to the FDA, Canada and Europe this year instead of waiting until q2 2024 to do the others. If so, what was a bad thing (delay) could be a good thing… let’s see what happens next. Although many fellow investors are feeling down with this news, it’s unlikely that this is the end of the story and we may be positively surprised sooner rather than later. The company is obviously being very careful. It’s not bad, as every day numerous applications are rejected by regulators for small issues, and resubmission is not easy. An extra month also permits updated clinical results from multiple sets of patients, such as the UK patients receiving compassionate care for multiple types of other tumors, leading us to the promised land of tissue agnostic tumor SOC.
