NEW: Sunday afternoon, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson joined a press conference to announce the grand opening of the Bayside Enhanced Shelter community in Interbay.
Gonna be 75 units of transitional housing for homeless drug addicts. There's already concern it's going to become a crime magnet in the community. More on that in a moment.
But for now, here is Wilson's entire Q&A with the press. It turned into a semi sh*t show once the "Stop The Sweeps Seattle" crowd started criticizing the mayor for her aggressive encampment removals.
They also pressed Wilson on her recent decision to activate surveillance cameras for the FIFA World Cup.
Once again, this is another example of the far-left eating their own.
Otherwise, credit to the mayor for staying with it and doing her best to answer these questions. She should do this more often. @MayorofSeattle

Entitled Bail jumper gets caught sunbathing throws temper tantrum on the side of the road.
While monitoring city surveillance cameras in Wausau, Wisconsin, dispatch spotted Talise Matchopotow sunbathing at a local park. A quick system check revealed she had an active felony warrant for failing to appear in court. Officers were immediately dispatched to make the arrest, but Matchopotow caught wind of their arrival, gathered her belongings, and took off on foot.
Officers caught up with her as she was crossing a nearby bridge. When she repeatedly ignored verbal commands to stop, an officer cut her off with a squad car and quickly placed her in handcuffs. That’s when the situation completely boiled over:
Matchopotow adamantly refused to let male officers search her, aggressively demanding a female officer instead. However, the closest available female officer was in a completely different jurisdiction—35 minutes away.
Refusing to wait or cooperate, she began striking her own he@d against the hood of the police cruiser, screaming at officers to just take her to jail, and threatening to start swinging on them.
As officers struggled to secure her in the vehicle, Matchopotow turned and spit directly at an officer, hitting him in the arm. It took a chaotic, screaming struggle to finally force her into the back of the squad car.
Prosecutors didn't hold back initially, stacking an aggressive list of charges against her for the bridge meltdown:
Felony Battery / Threat to an Officer
Felony Discharging Bodily Fluids at an Officer
Multiple Felony & Misdemeanor Bail Jumping counts
Resisting an Officer & Disorderly Conduct
The Final Twist: In a surprising legal turn, every single charge stemming from this specific bridge arrest was ultimately dismissed. However, she didn't escape accountability.
Matchopotow was still prosecuted and found guilty on the original underlying cases that triggered the warrant in the first place, resulting in a sentence of several months in jail.

The criminals are on the run, but the will not escape the long arm of the law. Got a few bail jumpers coming up to share. As always these are for entertainment and educational purposes.

@WhiteHouse It is so sad that the Democrats wanted a dirty city. They are claiming that it will go back to the way it looked if they ever regain control of the presidency. That sums up that the Dumocrats hate America. Thank you President Trump.

14 months ago, President Trump and @Interior set out to make Washington D.C. safe, beautiful and respected again. The results have been INCREDIBLE, vastly improving the streets of our nation's capital leading up to America's 250th birthday. 🇺🇸

“Trump has wrecked it. He has debased the People’s House with the aesthetic sensibilities of a pimp turned bankrupt casino operator and reality television performer, who confuses excess for greatness and spectacle for dignity. It’s appalling.”

Entitled woman attacks officer turns routine traffic into 9 months in jail.
Milwaukee County Corporal Adam and Officer Rachel pulled over a motorcycle operator, identified as Yashira. The initial reasons for the traffic enforcement action were straightforward: riding without proper eyewear and driving without a valid license.
However, what should have been a standard citation quickly escalated when a crowd began to gather around the scene.
As the officers attempted to secure the area, Yashira claimed she did not speak English and began calling out to the surrounding neighborhood for assistance.
Shortly after, her boyfriend, Charlie—the registered owner of the motorcycle—arrived on the scene and aggressively approached the officers.
Despite multiple loud and clear commands to "back off" and "get back," Charlie refused to comply, repeatedly arguing with the officers in both English and Spanish.
When the officers moved to place Charlie under arrest for obstructing their investigation, the situation turned chaotic.
As officers attempted to handcuff Charlie, Yashira actively intervened. She physically struck and battled with the officers in a desperate attempt to prevent her boyfriend's arrest.
Additional backup units had to be called to the scene to restore order, defuse the crowd, and safely take both individuals into custody. They were transported to the Milwaukee County Jail in separate vehicles.
The decision to fight law enforcement instead of handling the traffic citations in court led to serious criminal charges:
Yashira: Convicted of Battery and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. She was found guilty and sentenced to serve 9 months in a house of correction, followed by 1 year of probation.
Charlie: Charged with Resisting an Officer for his role in obstructing the initial investigation.
There was no indication on citizenship status of either individual in the records made available.
They wanted to play stupid games so they were awarded stupid prizes.

As we kick things off rolling into the weekend, we gotta have some Krazy Karen action to help lead the charge. One great thing about Karen is that she never takes a day off.

@BobFergusonGov Assuming that tax rate for $1million/year is 10%, how is $100,000/year a little more. LOL
English

It looks like voters will get a say on whether to maintain the tax on income over $1 million that was passed earlier this year- and I look forward to the public having their say on this important policy. To be clear, this reform of our regressive tax code included expansion of tax credits for working families, relief for small businesses, and investments in K-12 and affordable childcare. One more thing voters should know: so long as I am Governor I will veto ANY attempt to lower the threshold or raise the rate of this tax-- we are asking those who make the most to pay a little more, and providing relief to workers and small businesses. Let's keep it that way.
