@holedo3 @SecretaryTurner The difference is setting a standard for a builder who is subsequently liable vs building a bureaucratic army to look over every shoulder. It's not hard to meet a standard – It's hard to have a whole system dedicated to proving it to a bureaucracy just for compliance.

Regulations account for approximately $94,000 of the cost of a new home build — $30,000 is just “green energy” regulation. The Trump Administration is taking down these regulations to drive down costs and open housing supply.

250 years ago todav Adam Smith gave the world a fantastic insight That order, cooperation and prosperity are not ordered from above by priests or chiefs but emerge from the social interactions of ordinary people. t's the most revolutionary and benign idea ever proposed.

@gaughen The problem with collectivist empathy is that it becomes the best tool for defrauding the masses. The concept that some sovereign or leviathan is necessary for good to occur is not only a false, it is the most effective way to limit the collective good.

I've long believed that MAGA is simply a pride movement for sociopaths. This type of comment is anthropologically interesting. Most of us understand empathy to be the basis of all civilization. I.e. we cannot have a society without common concern. It doesn't function otherwise.

@gaughen It's either fake or mental illness. No normal person cares about people that they don't know and don't share anything in common with.

@danolm1 @ChaseForLiberty You insist on the fallacy of binary options. The equation for Libertarians is be rational & valuable enough to move the political needle. Candidates are chosen by small political minorities. The goal is to make them all pull to libertarian positions or loose.

@ChaseForLiberty So Kamala then? You can talk fairy tales all you want but realty had two options. Libertarians seem to want their own fantasy. It sounds great on paper but that’s as far as it gets in reality.

Speak for yourself. Sellouts like you voted for Trump despite 4 years of his governing and locking down the country in 2020. So yeah, own YOUR choice and quit trying to make it seem like all libertarians compromised their principles as you did.

@alan_lemp @SidTheArgent @VaJoshua @RockChartrand I believe you meant Bill – BC had the lowest ever % of the popular vote. 19% of the people voted for a Guy who told them to not vote for him. He just wanted to show the American people the math, & they wouldn't let him unless he declared candidacy. Talk about gatekeeping!

“Libertarian nationalist” is a contradiction. Nationalism elevates the collective above the individual. Libertarianism elevates the individual above the collective. Assuming the right stands for capitalism and freedom, nationalism isn’t right wing. It’s just socialism with a flag. You can’t defend individual rights while subordinating them to “the nation.”

@ChrisGloninger As a conservationist and former environmental activist, I have learned that using false numbers is not a winning strategy. If you want to make a real impact, build the better option. If it's really better, the investment will come – even without using the people's tax dollars!

Trump's EPA just repealed the Endangerment Finding — the legal foundation for ALL federal climate regulation since 2009. Yesterday he ordered the Pentagon to buy coal. Coal costs up to $169/MWh. Wind costs $27. 99% of coal plants cost more to run than replacing them with new solar. Coal employs 44,000 people. Clean energy employs 3.5 million. Coal pollution killed 460,000 Americans in 20 years. The Peabody Energy CEO stood next to Trump as he signed it. It's not energy policy. It's a taxpayer-funded bailout of a dying industry. #ClimateChange #ClimateCriminal #EPAEndangermentFinding #FollowTheMoney #CoalBailout #ClimateRegulation #TrumpEPA #EPA

Saving Americans TRILLIONS! President Trump and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announce the end of the Obama-era Endangerment Finding, ending costly and useless vehicle emission rules, eliminating the stop-start button, and saving taxpayers $1.3 trillion.

@StevenVitorino @TheWaryEagle @micah_erfan Do the math. Schools have the facilities and the budgets, but yet the rules and guidelines block them. Let's hire a regional top chef to go over the whole meals program and you'd be shocked at the wonders they could do with the resources at hand.

@ProsperCLT2023 @JeffJacksonNC I can answer this for you- because, when private property is used for business, it then becomes 'commercial property.' And there are rules, laws and guidelines on how and why that now commercial property can be used. Its so people cannot artificially inflate a cost market.

@nvolpewild @AndrewinH70355 Imagine how much habitat would have been saved if instead of promoting failed politics – environmental groups just purchased habitat for conservation. Politics is a horrible waste of resources. Don't be a watermelon environmentalist – Green on the outside - Red on the inside.

@nvolpewild @AndrewinH70355 This is hyperbolic. Yes, the developing world is consuming natural resources at a rapid pace, and much of it is to satisfy 1st world demand. We need to be doing something – absolutely! I grow more than 20% of my own food and I know many of the farmers who produce the rest. You?

Heads are going to explode 💥 Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third. All that “immigrants are bleeding us dry” noise? Absolute bullshit. Immigrants: 📌Pay more in taxes and take fewer benefits 📌Work more, earn more than the average native-born worker 📌Cost less in retirement, they do not drain Social Security for decades 📌Barely touch welfare, there is no free ride
