Russia is quietly winning from the Iran war: Last week, Russian seaborne crude shipments surged to ~4.1M barrels/day, one of the highest levels since 2023. The 4-week average is now at 3.4M bpd, continuing a steady uptrend. At the same time, oil prices are rising and sanctions pressure is softening. Meanwhile, Russian crude prices delivered to India have hit record highs. Higher volumes + higher prices = explosive revenue growth. This marks one of Russia’s strongest weekly revenue jumps since the Ukraine war began. Russia is emerging as one of the biggest beneficiaries of Middle East instability.
