@TerenceFoy @fieldystick @College_Crosse I think there needs to be a requirement for the goalie to be in the crease. It threads the needle of excessive 10-man and throw away shots. It's hard to call a shot illegitimate from midfield if the net is open.

@fieldystick @College_Crosse My proposal has been “A missed shot taken from the possessing team’s defensive half of the field cannot be backed up by the possessing team in order to retain possession” (or whatever the technical term for backing up a shot is). Importantly, a shot can still go in and be a goal

I think the #1 next rule change needs to be eliminating the D-zone hail mary shot over the goal/to the side of the goal and having the attackman stand right by the end line to get the back-up. Painfully uninteresting to watch, antithetical to the spirit of clearing, destroys flow
