@BrigandineBgd @nocontextmemes Everyone in the world. Only people from the US agrees on that. British people calls you people from the US and they speak English too. Any country that speaks Spanish calls you estadounidense that means united statians if we translate it literally. So no.

@Nativo2828_YT @nocontextmemes There is no continent called America, the Americas are a group of continents not a single one. Everyone in the world agrees that people from the USA are called Americans, and they are the only people in the Americas who refer to their nationality as such.

@BrigandineBgd @nocontextmemes Yeah, surely bud, because you surely are the representative of all those countries together. And even if they don't called themselves like that, the still are americans, because the prefix "ns" is used to say that someone is from somewhere

@MichaelAArouet Different cultures formed during the centuries prior to the unification. Also in the north we industrialised before the south did.

Each time I travel to Italy, I wonder about the massive economic gap. Why is the North one of the wealthiest areas in Europe, while the South remains so extremely poor? Isn’t it the same country, with the same language, culture, taxes, and laws? Can someone please explain?

Asmongold responds to people judging his lifestyle after revealing his beef jerky and candy diet "The reason why people get so mad about me is because a person like me existing in the way that I do refutes their entire world view." "Because it's like.. Work hard? Not really.. You have to be a good person? Not really.. You can't just sit at home and play video games all day? Yeah, you can.. You can't just eat fast food all day? Yup, yes you can.. Everything that they learned in their entire life not to do, I used as a checklist."

@StevieGhandiz @bloomjpg You didn't understand the whole point of his comments it would seem. He became wealthy and popular by being like that, he was always like that and money didn't fundamentally change him in any shape or form. That counters the mainstream narrative

@RyzardL @pureMetatron Allover met neighbouring Latins and most from Samnium, most people Romulus let in were themselves Latins from Alba Longa. Imagine a Slavic barbarian retard trying to educate me, an Italian and Roman about my city's history hahaha

@BrigandineBgd @pureMetatron You are so fucking retarded. I am talking about Romulus who granted “open asylum” to criminals, escaped slaves and exiles from all over to help build Rome. It is the founding myth of Rome.

The ancient Romans were not inclusive, diverse and pro-immigration. Anyone who tells you that is an activist and a liar. Ancient Rome was brutal. Compared to other period civilizations, it was indeed more tolerant in certain civic areas. But as a general rule, with some exceptions, Rome was mainly about power, which was imposed and maintained through force, intimidation and punishment. The land hungry system constantly devoured foreign territory, which it exploited through taxation, labor and slavery. Anyone who rebelled was mutilated, publicly executed and made an example for others. Rome's strength was not "inclusivity" nor "diversity". It was ruthless might.

@RyzardL @pureMetatron Rome was built by Latin men from surrounding places, the myth about Aeneas was written literally centuries later when Rome already conquered Greece and much more and it was to present it as a continuation of the Homeric epics. Rome hated barbarians, no exc

@pureMetatron You are completely retarded. Romes founding myths are about foreigners coming into help build the state. They famously extended citizenship to conquered peoples from all over the mediterranean. They were civic nationalists through and through. Not ethnic nationalists.

@ZogFatigue @pureMetatron Rome was anything but inclusive to the conquered barbarians, it did not give citizenship, it did not tolerate their barbarian tongue, it demanded tribute, it romanised. You never opened a classical history book, try reading a bit of Pliny, tacitus, Livy etc.

@pureMetatron Pure rightoid delusion. All empires are necessarily diverse. Rome more than most. Violence and conquest don't erase diversity and inclusivity. These things go together in an empire. Conquered people get absorbed into society. They don't vanish and they don't stay put.

@pureMetatron Well, they were definitely inclusive. They weren't too fond of Germans originally yet still adopted them, gave them citizenship, important command posts, Roman names, etc. They also loved Greeks, Egyptians, and had massive respect for the Persians even though they were rivals.
