Although the sentiments expressed by Ghanaians are understandable and justified, the ECG spokesperson has confirmed that the Akosombo plant is not operational. We are currently getting zero generation from Akosombo. While this is unfortunate, the government is committed to addressing and resolving the challenge.

Those protesting on the streets of Accra represent far less than one percent of Ghanaians -they can literally be counted. Approach this topic with restraint, as these views are not shared by the majority of Ghanaians. Nigerians and the entire world are welcome to trade and do business legally in Ghana, but crime will not be tolerated in any form.

Ow bro, I gave clarity in the CS. In this case, cause and type of anaemia were clearly stated in the clinical history. Retics count was already done to arrive at such a conclusion and moreover patient hasn't started treatment (so excuse of assessing bone marrow response to treatment is non applicable) . It's fair for a lab scientist to make such statements considering the scenario

@BrightGoku3 Retics count can be used to ascertain the type and/or the cause of anemia and other parameters. Please just ask questions next time and not just think because you don't see the reason why an investigation is required that it is unnecessary

@CTSU___ We're all overworked, that's right. Machines run those tests and report them. What should the doctors do then. They have to interpret, correlate, and compare before giving an order, an order that must work.

Today’s World Malaria Day. A little reminder from the lab…. Specimen quality, QC, and validated methods aren't boring they're what stands between a missed diagnosis and a saved patient. Malaria elimination depends on the MLS excellence. Malaria parasites from my lens.
