#OutageUpdate #AlexandraSDC Outage Restored: Cydna Substation, North Distributor: The power supply is 100% restored. The outage was caused by a burnt transformer. We kindly urge customers to use electricity sparingly and to unplug heavy appliances such as geysers, stoves, and heaters at least 15 minutes before restoration of power after loadshedding to avoid trips, and they can plug them back in 15 minutes after we’ve restored the power to enable the load to stabilise first. ^KM
