@BleuSpheres Apart from the being alive part, thats better then the dead you get from pressing blue. (in real life, 25% wouldnt even manage to turnup to vote)

@Mar_Animation You need to add some innocent kids that will die if blue dont win otherwise only a fullblown idiot would pick blue. In real life blue will always be a idiots option, but in a smaller setting where 100% will actually vote its a bit better.

I have opinions on the new red/blue button debate. I interpret it as a test of whether or not you are in a high trust or low trust environment. Choosing the red button guarantees your own safety but also ensures people will die because there is invariably going to be people who will vote blue for whatever reason. But choosing the blue button is only a viable option IF you are in a high trust environment. The blue/red button question, in my opinion, is more of a question of “do you trust the group you’re in?” Pure altruism & trust vs. guaranteed self-preservation So it depends on the group. All other things being equal, I don’t particularly want blue voters to die, so I’d ideally vote blue. But I’m not going to stake my life on that if the group I’m in is particularly untrustworthy. So again… it depends on the group. If I was in a situation where all the other voters were my closest friends & family, obviously I would choose blue. But if I’m in a group of people who don’t know each other and are openly hostile to each other, I am pressing red.

@kawagiwirl Because of innocent people they forced into the experiment. Some claim they would risk their life to safe innocent(and some really are that stupid), others are more realistic and honest.
Sure it would be possible to make it perfectly balanced in a smaller group.

@kaileyinCA Because you will die if you press blue. 25% will probably not even go and vote(they will count against blue), most people you dont like will probably vote red, many people like politicians that you dont trust will say they vote blue but they will press red. Its red or dead

La première fois que j'ai vu ce dilemme, j'ai moi aussi instinctivement pris de haut les bleus en pensant qu'il fallait être teubé pour pas voter rouge
Sauf que j'ai complètement oublié un détail important
Une partie non négligeable de la population ne peut pas faire de choix

@CryptoGeorgist Voting blue you will not have to. In real life, blue would loose. Just think that its a global vote, getting people to vote will be a struggle and all who dont is counted against the blue. The score blue vs red is a global turnup of over 85% for blue to win.

Old answer was red because I thought blue was going to lose in a landslide.
But now my answer is blue because living in a world with only red button people is a fate comparable to death.

this poll is flawed because it’s based on how people perceive themselves. not how they would TRULY act in the moment.
it’s easy to say Blue because it’s hypothetical and gives you brownie points but best believe a lot of vocal Blue advocates would switch to Red last second imo

What this shows me that even in a random online poll with no stakes, 44% will press red so there is no fucking way humans achieve over 50% blue in real life. A flawed poll of course and missing context but I think my result interpretation is valid.
