@NatOrangeJuice @diehardfanjamie That would be difficult without us having a professional league though. Any native Brit at the level of playing for the national team, would likely be playing overseas anyway. Lets just hope things improve over the years 🤞

@BronxBrits @diehardfanjamie I see both sides but I think most brits would agree we’d rather our fellow countrymen get the opportunity or at least 25% to help baseball talent in this country develop

I really hope that more Brits stumble on the WBC, watch Great Britain play, and gain an interest that leads to a lifelong baseball obsession. One of us!

@diehardfanjamie Whilst I agree, we wouldn't be in it at all without these American guys. Any fans that find the game will be a bonus, but yeah, it's not going to grab the nation.

@BronxBrits Do you think a team made up nearly entirely of Americans will be able to grab hold of the British sports fan, even if they win a game? It’s just tough to get people to relate when 0 players even sound British when they speak or were raised/spent any considerable time in 🇬🇧

@BronxBrits I wish we could start a baseball ashes between Australia and Great Britain. It's such an underrated game in our countries, but the potential for growth is always there with proper investment in infrastructure and administration.

@MaleFromWales Yeah I thought that they'd show more than just the GB games, but I guess we should be grateful to get that.
