People cheering on a “no-fault divorce ban” are failing to consider that such a ban would make it nearly impossible for a man to leave his wife if she ages or gains weight

@LuciusDomitiusz @ShanJeniah @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer I believe I shouldn’t have to have obligation sex with someone I don’t want to be with, even if it’s not a dangerous situation. If you are advocating for people having to stay even when they aren’t in love, the men aren’t going to get the sex they feel they are entitled to.

@ShanJeniah @Brookeout @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer Here's the thing. Almost half of marriages ending in divorce is a disaster. It must be too easy to get a divorce if that many people do it. If someone is in danger there's people to call and separation. I believe marriage needs to mean something.

@LuciusDomitiusz @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer That’s great for you. The rest of us would rather not spend the rest of our lives in a loveless marriage. Especially if its mutual, like my reply said. And if it’s loveless, it’s probably going to be sexless too because no one should have to have sex with someone they don’t love.

@_mort96_ @DanTwoHundred @CartoonsHateHer Because they agreed to stay together until death. That's what marriage is. If you disagree with that, don't get married. And be up front with your spouse on your wedding day about it too. Most people not brainrotted by Twitter will be appalled at that mindset.

@Sarah_Comedy @CartoonsHateHer It would be. The problem is, a very high percentage of divorces are initiated by women. A lot of men are happy to stay in a shitty marriage because it still benefits him.

@LuciusDomitiusz @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer Because anyone should be able to leave for any reason. Wanting to be married to someone who doesn’t want to be with you, but is forced to, is weird as hell. And some people mutually divorce because they are no longer in love. They wouldn’t be able to even do that anymore.

@OldRangerJoe1 @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer So hold people hostage in unhappy relationships because they don’t want to loose their kids, yeah that will work out great, how about we don’t use children as pawns it should be 50/50 custody as a base line and only be different if one parent doesn’t want custody or is abusive

@ltbadpuppy @aliensinnoh @tcstephenson818 @CartoonsHateHer Imagine being so pathetic that you want to be married to someone who is only there because she is imprisoned by a contract. I suppose you think she should still have to have sex with him too because of “the contract.”

@BlancheDuBious We were told by older women that the ones who were of reproductive age, even the queer ones, could usually find some dude to fuck in return for a place to crash. That was a really cheerful thing to discover.

A few years ago, I had a cool idea: what if I used Amazon wishlists to get homeless people in Vegas what they needed? I could create lists of things they needed and my followers on social media could buy it and it'd get shipped to my house so I could hand it out.

@Hensley4HouseNC @JulianeWriter Thank you!! You have sense. Why would anyone sit up and believe just cause it’s a church you can call telling your needs and problems so they’ll fix them…thts not what the church is for!!!! As well as how do they know you not lying or just looking for a hand out?

@RNSuperHero @Gay__MD Oh agreed but this hospital had NO ONE watching them. Like one tele monitor by where the secretary sat and that’s it. There was no where for me to monitor them from. 😅

@Brookeout @Gay__MD Unpopular opinion but I actually hate most central monitoring tele places because I get so many unecessary and inaccurate phone alerts. I personally prefer to monitor my own patients as we do in icu but I understand the need when the nurse patient ratios are insane

Idk man just a nitro drip for blood pressure over 220 going to a step down unit that doesn’t even have an in room monitor to appropriately continuously check the damn blood pressure doesn’t seem like a great plan but I’m just a nurse so 😒😒

@RNSuperHero @Gay__MD I’m my early RN days I shadowed for a hospital that the patients were on tele…but no one was actually monitoring them. I came from a hospital where we had a monitor room with a knowledgeable man watching at all times to…that. I did not take that job. I was horrified.

@bettawerkbish @Jessica65481190 I have had a few patients tell me there is no chance of pregnancy and turn up pregnant. I had one swear she was a lesbian and there was no way. She must have been saying that bc her partner was there bc she clearly got raw dogged 8 weeks prior.

@Jessica65481190 Hear me out. I had a patient that lied and said she had a hysterectomy. We run tests. Come to find out she was like 8 weeks along. She then tried to say she never told us she had a hysterectomy. 🙄 so after that my hospital was like collect urine on everybody 🫠

A nurse today asked me when my last period was. I told her I had a complete radical hysterectomy 10 years ago. She goes ok, so when was your last period a few months ago?? Ummm ma'am, I'd like a new nurse, I think. What in the ever loving fuck does she think a hysterectomy is?
