@milehigh_malone Thinking about this more. Since Watson and Gordon are Denver's two best shot blockers and defenders their loss hurts Denver just as much as Minnesota losing Donte and Edwards.

Here’s what’s crazy. The @nuggets are 11-point favorites to win Game 5 tonight.
If they win tonight, they will be favored to win Game 6.
If they win Game 6, they will most definitely be favored to win Game 7.
Not that any of these odds mean a damn thing. They haven’t.

Very smart decision by Donte DiVincenzo.
If you unfortunately suffer an Achilles tear, you want to emulate those who have perfected the recovery path before you.
In this case, that was Jayson Tatum.
And just like Tatum, DiVincenzo is having his Achilles reconstructed by Dr. O’Malley, and hopefully will follow the same rehab protocol to get him back on the court in the spring of 2027.

Donte DiVincenzo, like Jayson Tatum last year, will have his Achilles surgery done by Dr. Martin O’Malley at HSS here in New York less than 24 hours after suffering the injury, per the Wolves. Hopefully DiVincenzo is able to have a similar comeback story.

Remember when Donte DiVincenzo broke his nose in Charlotte and then returned to the game?
He took serious pride in playing all 82 games, and that’s one specific thing I’ll always remember about this season.

Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has sustained a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee and is expected to miss multiple weeks, sources tell ESPN. Results showed Edwards avoided any ligament damage, but he will now miss time.
