The old man and his grandson weren't having a picnic, nor were they trying to get close to the bison. They were walking on a path unaware of the agitated bison 300 feet away. Stopping to take a photo wasn't the smartest thing, but he didn't linger. Making this guy out to be a dumb tourist getting in the face of a bison us false.
