It was great to join Senator Dave McCormick and FBI Director Kash Patel for an important event on combating fentanyl and drug trafficking across Pennsylvania. This event brought together law enforcement officials from across the Commonwealth, to address the devastating impact these drugs have had on our communities and to strengthen coordination at every level. Good to see my colleague Congressman Ryan Mackenzie in attendance as well as so many dedicated state and local elected officials committed to keeping our communities safe. We will continue working together to support law enforcement, hold traffickers accountable, and protect Pennsylvania families.

Syzygy Integration, a fast-growing small business in Conshohocken, provides good jobs and works every day to protect our communities and events like the FIFA World Cup with counter-UAS systems. But the ongoing Democrat shutdown over DHS funding is directly hurting this work and their clients. To my Democrat colleagues: end the political games and fund DHS.

It has been about 23 years since I was last at the front of an Army company formation. It was an honor to participate in a promotion ceremony this afternoon for 1st Lieutenant Bruce Trimmer, PA Army National Guard, at Horsham Air Guard Station. Bruce also serves as a staff assistant in @SenMcCormickPA Philadelphia office.

Great catching up with Chester County Commissioner Eric Roe and Frank Agovino, Board Member of the Manufacturing Alliance of Chester & Delaware Counties. We talked housing, supply, and affordability, and how I’m working with the Senate and the Administration to bring costs down. We’ve made great progress, but there’s more to do.

School choice has the power to transform the future of our county. During a recent visit to St. Helena–Incarnation School in Philadelphia, I saw firsthand how access to the right educational environment can change a child’s life — both inside the classroom and after school. When we expand school choice, we expand opportunity, ensuring that every student, regardless of zip code or family income, has a real chance to succeed.

One year ago today, the people of Pennsylvania elected me to be their U.S. Senator. It followed one of the toughest campaigns in the country, and I wouldn’t be here without the support of so many who believed in me and in our change agenda. Dina and I could not be more honored to have an opportunity to make a difference for the Commonwealth in the Senate. This past year has been a true privilege. From partnering with President Trump to help bring Pennsylvanian Marc Fogel home from a Russian prison, to delivering on key promises like strengthening the border, strengthening the military, and lowering taxes, to hosting a record-breaking Energy & AI Innovation Summit in Pittsburgh—we’ve hit the ground running for Pennsylvania. During my campaign, I promised to work with anyone to get things done for the Commonwealth. I’ve kept that promise by finding common ground with Senator Fetterman, because working together is the commonsense Pennsylvania way. Serving you in the Senate is one of the greatest blessings of my life. Thank you for trusting me, Pennsylvania. I promise to continue to work hard every day and continue to deliver results for the Keystone State.
