If this were to happen, Bath would be one of the few teams that never faced a South African side home or away.

🚨The South African teams are strongly considering pulling out of the Champions Cup🚨 A decision will be made in July, and if they leave it would have profound implications across the game. @TimesSport thetimes.com/sport/rugby-un…

The Test series against New Zealand — a must win series for the Key and Mcullum regime — starts in just 21 days on 4 June. The squad has been selected and announced.
But McCullum is still in New Zealand. According to some reports, he may not be here until the end of May.
Is it just me, or is that taking the piss?

@BoothCricket Neither crazy, nor the sign of the times..just wrong with a centrally contracted player to @englandcricket that he isn't available 🤔
English

🏏 It’s both crazy, and a sign of the times, that Jofra Archer will miss the first Test of a crucial summer for England so he can play for Rajasthan Royals dailymail.com/sport/cricket/…
English

@cric_blog Would @CricketAus allow that with Cummins, Starc or Hazlewood? Never. Terrible contract agreement by @englandcricket. Archer should not be selected, or paid, for this season
English

Mike Atherton joined the likes of Mark Butcher in voicing concerns about centrally contracted Jofra Archer not being available for England's first Test against New Zealand due to the IPL.
"I find it incredibly frustrating, and I'm sure England supporters do as well because, you've got central contracts there. The point of the central contract is to kind of arrange and manipulate a player's workload so that you are right and ready and bang on ready to go for England.
"It's five months since the last Test that England played, and between January and June, a centrally contracted bowler would get to the first Test of the summer against New Zealand and he's not ready and right to go. As a centrally contracted player... that's an immense frustration."
The IPL final is on May 31 before the #ENGvNZ Test kicks off on June 4.

@RugbyInsideLine The final is; 'French rugby TV Directors' vs. 'EPRC home venue semi-finalists'
English

@PremSportsTV please sort @MilesHarrisonTV's microphone. He can't be heard, the sound quality is awful #UBBvBAT @ChampionsCup
English

@AndyGoode10 Perhaps @rugbyontnt can wield its view. Watched one game this w/e - Exeter/Saints. The rest were just uninteresting as either nothing riding on them or foregone conclusions
English

@ChampionsCup @BathRugby/@UBBrugby could go either way. With @ChampionsCup officials giving @leinsterrugby a game at the ground where they have played ALL their home games , @RCTofficiel have a massive disadvantage

@neilfissler EPRC do now pick the venues. However, why pick the stadium that Leinster have designated their 'home' ground for the tournament as the RDS is being rebuilt?
English

Proper rugby game @UBBrugby vs. @StadeToulousain. Top drawer aided by Matt Carley - outstanding refereeing performance. #championscup
English

@ChampionsCup So @leinsterrugby will play at their same 'home' stadium should they win, as sadly @GlasgowWarriors have now lost to Toulon. How is the same ground where they have played ALL games in the competition 'neutral'? The structure of this competition is an amateurish joke @EPCR_rugby

Semi-final venues confirmed 📢
Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Stadium MK, or Aviva Stadium 🏟️

@DanMurphyGolf You have mentioned Sam Cooper recently on the @NCGTop100s podcast. Do you know why the Links from the Road publications have just ceased? Money from customers has been taken but the subscription has just stopped. Wondered if you or @NCG_com had any information? Tx

🚮 Just when you thought England’s Six Nations campaign could not get any worse, they suffer a first-ever defeat by Italy.

@sd_cooper @NCG_com Sam, still nothing recieved for volume 3, either the publication or some communication about it?
English

@Brucieray40 @NCG_com Hi Bruce - apologies but Vol3 should be making an appearance soon. A pretty hectic year with family and a few other bits put me behind - my fault entirely. You should have had an email with update
English

@sd_cooper where is volume 3 of Links from the Road Sam? With membership, were they not one per quarter? @NCG_com as I picked this up through your advocacy, do you have any information please?
English

@jimhamilton4 He is cool. But there are better words to exaggerate 'cool' than that used 😜; unbelievably, amazingly...and plenty more

@BBCSport there are other sports taking place - your headlines; no winter Olympics, no Six Nations.
You should present a broad information sports service.. #MilanoCortinaOlympics2026 #GuinnessM6N
