@BryceSwan09 @mcelvy @MyGolfSpy New golfer here. Only have played 9 holes and par 3s. Will pick up after triple bogey. Seems the courses need to educate new golfers on how to play and some experienced golfers here are very gate-keepy and judgy.

Did anyone else know the highest handicap you can have is 54? Anyone?

@mcelvy @MyGolfSpy I think education of how to play proper golf that doesn’t exist. I’ve played with and behind golfers of all skills and levels.. keep up with the group ahead of you. Pick up after triple bogey. How did you know they were 54 handicap? Anyways, keep grinding 💪🏼

Actually I am, but public golf is so bad where I live. Tried to take my boys to play recently because they want to get more into the game. After 9 holes and 3+ hours and an 11 & 8-year-old waiting on every shot, we left. 2 groups in front of us both had 54 handicappers. That’s not fun.
