I’ve been to a lot of campaign rallies in my fifteen-year career. I’ve never seen such a large percentage of women at a single rally. It’s probably 75% female tonight in Pittsburgh at @KamalaHarris’s get out the vote event.

Differentiation is designing instruction with students in mind, and a remedy for the ineffective one-size-fits-all model. It's not impossible. It's not unrealistic. It's what we are supposed to do as teachers. Everything on the left-hand column is considered good practice.

My kid turns 13 today. THIRTEEN?!?!?!?!? TEENAGER?!?!?!?!?!? I don't know what I did to get so lucky in the kid department and, despite me always trying to sell him to the highest bidder, I think @BrynaSF_edu and I will keep him for at least another year.

I’m convinced that nearly all bad admin decisions in schools come from a lack of time in classrooms, and a resulting lack of firsthand understanding of what teachers are dealing with. Get into classrooms. It’s the most important thing.
