Been trading BTC markets from 2017, started hedging coins, and found a great strategy with high win rate.

A significant legal victory for AfriForum and the residents of Cape Town. The Western Cape High Court has ruled against the City of Cape Town's property tariffs, deeming them unconstitutional. This challenge ensures fairer property rates for residents.

🚨 The South African government is attempting to OUTLAW FINANCIAL FREEDOM. 🚫 Under the guise of "capital flow management," new draft regulations will effectively destroy self-custody and Bitcoin's promise of financial inclusion in our country. 🇿🇦 These aren't just rules for exchanges. They are a direct attack on EVERY South African. Here’s what they do: ‼️ BAN SELF-CUSTODY: By targeting transactions that touch global network infrastructure, they make self-custody illegal. ‼️ FORCE LIQUIDATION: They grant the state the power to force the sale of Bitcoin to the National Treasury. This is expropriation. ‼️ OUTLAW CIRCULAR ECONOMIES: Peer-to-peer transactions for goods and services will be deemed "black market" activity if they exceed an unspecified threshold. ‼️ GIVE THE STATE ARBITRARY POWER: The Minister can decide the "threshold" for illegality at any time, creating uncertainty for everyone. ✊ This is a war on open, permissionless money. It's a war on the unbanked. It's a war on your right to control your own wealth. 📜 And they're trying to do it WITHOUT A VOTE IN PARLIAMENT. ⏳ The deadline for public objection is either May 18 or June 10, depending on which government source is consulted. We have no time to waste. 👀SEE DRAFT HERE: treasury.gov.za/public%20comme… 👇 SUBMIT YOUR OBJECTION HERE: ag.bitcoinzar.co.za 🔖 READ THE CRITICAL ANALYSIS: capecrypto.com/south-africa-d… 📢 SHARE THIS POST. The world needs to see what is happening.

States are slowly waking up to a terrifying new reality: “Wait… people can actually transact directly with each other and we have zero control over it?! Quick - tax it, ban it, persecute the users, and make damn sure this never gets big.” Well, the smarter states (like the US) have already realized they can’t win this fight the old-fashioned way with brute force and outright bans. So instead, they’re trying to lure Bitcoin holders into giving up self-custody. That way they keep at least some control… and maintain a convenient “Plan B” (ehm ehm… confiscation… ehm ehm) just in case the current system completely collapses. Which, let’s be honest, it eventually will. This is sad news for the South African Bitcoin community, but honestly, no one is surprised given the country’s latest developments. 📉

🇿🇦 SOUTH AFRICA PROPOSES INSANE CRYPTO CONTROLS, POSSIBLE FORCED SALES South Africa National Treasury and South African Reserve Bank have introduced draft Capital Flow Management Regulations that could dramatically restrict crypto use. The proposal would require disclosure of crypto holdings above an unspecified threshold and could allow the government to force holders to sell assets for rand. Under the draft, investors may not buy, sell, lend, or transfer crypto above the threshold without permission, except through approved providers. Transactions would require a stated purpose, and using funds outside that purpose could trigger mandatory resale. Cross-border transfers and payments using crypto would be banned without approval. Authorities would also gain powers to search individuals, demand declarations, and seize assets suspected of violating the rules. Critics say the changes raise serious constitutional concerns around privacy, property rights, and freedom of association, calling them among the most aggressive updates to South Africa’s decades-old exchange control system.

A full Five Litre bottle equal to R24 000 worth of R5 coins. When you take it to the bank to “save,” you will be charged bank fees at R15 for every R100 coins. So your coins worth R24 000 will be charged R3 600 deposit fees, leaving you with R20 400. Banks were never meant to make you rich.

The ANC government has introduced a National Water Amendment Bill that introduces racial criteria in the allocation of water use rights. In South Africa, a successful Black emerging farmer wanted to share/transfer his surplus irrigation water rights to his White neighbor (a commercial farmer and his mentor). The Department of Water and Sanitation denied it purely on race. Their license forbids transferring water from a “previously disadvantaged” (Black) holder to a non-disadvantaged (White) one to protect “transformation targets.” The National Water Amendment Bill [B1–2026] was tabled on 21 January to amend the National Water Act of 1998. The bill also makes provision for race-based preferences and restrictions in water licensing.
