I have never seen regular gas start with a 4 in Kansas. 😐
Never, not in my life.
Today, I regular gas is at $3.99 a gallon, and that means we are one penny away from crossing a line I have never seen before...
This is regular gas. This is what people are putting in their vehicles to get to work, take kids to school, get groceries, drive to appointments, and live their everyday lives.
We are not even into the main summer travel season yet. When I think about gas prices being at their highest point of the year, I usually think about Memorial Day through Labor Day.
We are not even there yet, and regular gas is already the highest I have ever seen in my life.
Will it go up one more penny?
Will regular gas in Kansas finally cross into $4.00 a gallon? And if it does, how much higher will it go before summer is over?

I’ve been quiet on here for a while and I just wanted to let you guys know why. The last 2 years has been the lowest point in my life. I’ve struggled with PTSD, depression, and you fuckin name it. At times I didn’t think I would win this fight, nor did I want to. I’m still struggling but finding a new purpose in training our K9 Unit has filled a void for me. The joy I get from watching these dogs transform from green dogs to obedient and well trained bad asses entrusted with saving the lives of my officers is hard to explain.
I’ve went my whole life being trained and told that mental health was just a coward’s way out. That’s how it was in the military and in LE up until a few years ago. So naturally, I’ve isolated myself in an attempt to deal with my own shit. I know now that is not the right way but it’s my way.
The purpose of this message is to let you guys know that I’m ok and back on path to being myself again. Also to let you guys know that mental health is fuckin real! The traumas we see in both the military and LE can and will break even strongest people out there if you let them.
Reach out for help if you need it. Check on your friends and loved ones. There are plenty more people like me who suffer silently and you won’t know unless you persistently check on them. Take care of each other!

Just 15.8 million viewers for Miami-Ole Miss. It was a great game, but this is a brutally awful number. College football is the only sport that posts lower final four playoff viewership than it does for regular season games. Must be addressed. Audience isn’t growing.
